James Degale looked great in bursts but Medina seemed to me landing way more consistently. Hope Medina gets it though i don't think it's a robbery either way
Reported.
Nice knowing ya bud.
Haha damn. I searched the thread for the word 'stream' and saw someone else asking. I should have figured that's something i'm definitely not allowed to do. Oh well, no hard feelings dude.
Holy ****, awesome fight so far. Will be better than Thurman-Porter if it continues like this, because of less spoiling.
Edit: I should say less smothering*
Not sure who I got in this. For some reason i'm still pissed off at Santa Cruz for his performance on the Mayweather undercard tlast year, even though he has since impressed me against Mares.
I guess I got him by UD. Awesome matchup between two prime fighters, should be fun.
Seen this analysis up to round 12.
Funny how after a year none of floyds fans have a response for this lol
Video clearly shows manny outlanding floyd in most rounds; and even in rounds where he was outlanded, manny almost always lands the most significant punches.
Mind You - this is with 1 shoulder, and floyd availing of his illegal IV substances.
For once, it might be interesting to see just one reasonable counter-argument - but then again, when video evidence clearly shows what happened, its no surprise floyds fans have come up with nothing after a whole year.
There's no need to respond to this, it's ridiculously biased. He does his best to give off the illusion of objectivity but it's not even close to objective. Turned it off as soon as it got to shots you couldn't even see land but he credited them as landing because 'listen to the sound' as if he can make the distinction between the sound of a glove hitting a head and a glove hitting glove based on that audio alone.
If you analyze it yourself, you would see that several of those rounds that could have and some should have gone to Manny. All it took was 2 swing rounds going to Manny and its a draw. Start with round 3. Manny had the edge in that round.
Oh I've watched it a bunch even in the mindset of giving Manny every possible round. I agree that Manny got round 3. But i think the closest you can have it is 7-5 for Mayweather. On one rewatch I gave Manny 5 rounds, but that was trying really hard and i think the more accurate score is 8-4 Mayweather.
Edit: So in a sense i do agree with that video and that many are overlooking Manny, but he still clearly lost in my opinion.
And to be fair you have to analyze Mayweather as closely as you did Pac, and he definitely landed good shots i didn't see when watching it live. There's two really good uppercuts he lands that i thought he missed when watching it live
Agreed with the guy that said Castillo cave away too many rounds early. I had him clearly losing at least 4 rounds at the start and it's not like the remaining 8 weren't close rounds. There was plenty of room for a couple of the close rounds to ultimately determine the winner and it just happened in a way some people disagree with. I think it might have been like that either way tho
Could legitimately be a draw. I think there's 5 rounds you can give to Garcia and if one of the other close rounds went the wrong way to Garcia it could be a draw. Thurman shouldn't have coasted, when he was doing things he was winning easy and looked way better than Garcia.
I think it's anywhere from Thurman 8-4 to 6-6 draw.
Awesome fight. I love when the guy who's been consistently losing the rounds manages to turn things around instead of just doing the same thing and getting blown out every round.
