Imo, the most important part of a trainer/fighter combo is how well and comfortable they are with each other, comfortable to where you can talk freely and can voice concerns with a friend who knows you through and through and together they can work out a game plan. When two people know each other well great things can happen.
I realized that too, but not for nothing he's training hard and you don't know if he trained before the sparring session or if it's simply due to being tires from a grueling training camp. Either eay his stamina should be ok once his training tapers down and he takes it easy up to the fight and feels refreshed but I do agree that 10 rounds is not enough. Ortiz looks good and really confident ;I've got floyd by decision nonetheless.
Yes frosty-g got it, gamboa isn't ducking anyone, and I also cosign warcotto 130 is the best possible division for him where he should be able to perform comfortably and possibly be alot more active even though I believe that his lulls are due to his amateur mentality.
Wasn't aware peterson was thought of in such a weak manner. Surprising. I on the other hand see a guy with a great skill set who just doesnt deviate from the plan if he was a little more unorthodox he would be really really good.
Am I the only one who would love to see lamont peterson vs mayweather? All jokes aside, how do you guys fair peterson against him? I think if peterson being a good body puncher as' is, would attack the body more and then switch it up from time to time would be a definite great fight to watch. Does anyone else feel the same way?
Really? I can really see floyd teeing off but I can easily see peterson dishing out body shots all night from his shell defense. Basically what im trying to say is if floyd has to resort to hitting him at the body because peterson turtles up he'll have his hands full because LP fires off combos especially to the body it can be interesting because as you said floyd won't be moving much either. Does that make sense somewhat? I dunno but I can definitely see a nice fight not boring to me. And yes peterson needs a new trainer to snap him out of the robotic trance he gets into.
I absolutely guarantee that Khan would give Floyd more trouble if he fought a good fight. Pac, we know how he'd fight, and I'd say he will get beat pretty straight forward in Mayweather's hardest fight.
Khan however, he could actually beat Floyd. He has the speed, size, skill but whether he can put it together in a very controlled fight is another matter. Would be very interesting.
Exactly how I feel
I would live to see this fight. I can see it go either way, both men coming in with excellent game plans. Khan learning and perfecting his technique and peterson learning from the bradley fight to never deviate from the game plan i'll be rooting for peterson.
Sore loser, simple.....sure it's the poimts system so why didn't he fight according to the system. if it was a a regular fight vasyl would wreck him anyway, he's a natural athletic brawler and counterpuncher. Anyway you spin it ramirez would lose. I'm not a lomachenko nuthugger, it's just facts.
