Joshua knocked out an ATG in his 19th fight. For their 19th fight, Lewis,Tyson,Ali fought Levi Billiups, Steve Zouski and Henry Cooper. I believe Ali struggled with Cooper too? I couldn't quite remember that fight. I'm not saying Joshua is better than those guys but I'm just saying at this stage of their careers, Joshua is ahead. If he fights Fury, he will be fighting another ATG all before his 30th fight and possibly even knock out Fury. Fury is an ATG since he beat Wladimir who's also an ATG who lost to Joshua.

Same as the Manchester United thread in England. What are some weird feelings about boxing that you have? For instance me personally -Canelo is still only 21(I checked and he's almost 30) -HBO Boxing still exists(For some reason I keep thinking it's still around and big fight nights I'm always checking into HBO) -Floyd and Manny never fought.(Maybe because that fight sucked so much I forgot about it. But every so often I will get the feeling they never fought. Than remember they did fight and it was massive PPV) -PPV no longer exists

It's a really easy solution to fighters ducking. You take the top 20 fighters of a weight class and make them fight each other twice a season. Than you rank them based on overall wins/draws/losses to determine a champion. We shorten the rounds to 5 instead of 12 so fighters can now fight 38 times a year.

Floyd will get utterly wiped out today. Look at the size of Julian, Tony, and Muguia. These guys are all 5'10-6'2 and walk around at 180 pounds of pure muscles. Floyd walks around at 150-155. Floyd's era was filled with pretty small fighters that he could walk down(Pacquiao/Marquez/Mosley/De La Hoya/Hatton) For comparisons Ricky Hatton is about half the size of Muguia. Yet if Hatton was fighting today? He and Muguia would have gotten matched up. Now Floyd is more talented than all these fools but size wise he just couldn't take the punches. Realistically all the 147-154 guys today would have been MW-SMW in Floyd's era. I think if Floyd fought in this era, he would be fighting at 140 and below. Which means he won't have won the belts at 147-154 the way he did.

Boxing should adopt a Premier League Format. Top 20 of every weight class will be Division 1. They all fight each other twice a year. Win= 3 points Draw=1 Point Loss=0 End of year. We have a champ and the bottom 3 get relegated to Division 2(the next 20) This is a incredible idea. Everyone fights everyone.

Highly suspicious of this fight. I don' care about either Joshua or Ruiz. I'm a Liverpool FC fan and only care what happens with them. I call out suspicious behavior when I see it. Joshua as early as round 1 was asking his trainer 'what's happening' and 'why do I feel this way'. Looked confused even BEFORE he got hit. In fact looked confused DURING the introduction. Looked confused DURING THE WEIGHT IN. I am 100% of the belief that he was drugged. I'm not saying that some sinister invisible man did this so he could lose the fight. Look at the reactions he's showing after he 'lost'. He acted like he didn't care and knew the outcome already. Ruiz's reaction also looked rehearsed. Look at the reaction of Douglas crying and screaming and breaking down talking about his Mother. Look at Tyson's reaction acting like he was going to die. Ruiz looked like he 'completed' part 1 of a 2 part script. Joshua looked like he didn't even care and even 'winked'. Hearns already said 'rematch in Uk in front of 90,000'. Now this rematch in the UK will be huge and big money maker. Also reason to avoid Wilder for another year.

Man Boxing is straight up dead. I use to watch 10 fights a year back in 2001. Now I watch 10 fights a decade. Haven't even watched 10 fights since 2010.... what's the point? Best dont fight the best Heavyweights died And absolutely lack of excitement Haven't had a slugfest since Bowe holyfjeld!

I honestly think Chisora have a case H2H to beat Prime Ali. I'm not saying Chisora is greater than Ali, Ali is around 100x greater than Chisora. I'm saying in terms of H2H, Chisora would beat Ali. Key Points Ali had trouble with bobbers(not weavers) Ali had serious issues with bobbers or Joe Frazier's style of fighting. Keep in mind I'm not talking about Tyson Bob and Weave style but pure bobbers. (Movement of head followed by hooks to the body in a nonstop) Chisora bobs as well as Frazier ever did. He lacked the skillset of a Frazier but Ali never had issues with Frazier's skills. It was always the first sequence of bob+hook that Ali had issues with. Chisora does the exact same thing. Ali had trouble with punchers coming from awkward angles. This is why Norton gave Ali such problems in all their fights. Norton's punches came from various angles that often confused Ali. Chisora showed in the Vitali fight that he threw punches from a variety of angles. I don't believe Ali could handle this and Ali usually did better with single angle fighters(Foreman, Quarry, Williams etc etc) Ali had trouble against fighters that rope a dope better than he did. This is a horrific issue Ali had again'st fighters that will lean against the ropes. Holmes.Spinks.Frazier all leaned against the ropes against Ali and all three beat him. Chisora was a rope leaner. Ali often will get reckless and become overexposed agaisnt fellow rope a dopers. In conclusion, I believe Ali would have serious issues against Chisora in a H2H. Do I think Ali will lose? Yes. It will be a close but clear sort of 7-5. Ali's resume shyts over Chisora's though.

Listen to that crowd during the Wlad fight. Nobody got that sort of pop at Heavyweight since Holyfield in that Tyson fight. Joshua is great for boxing in the UK. Not Fury. American HW Boxing is dead anyways so no need for Wilder to do well.
