I honestly think Chisora have a case H2H to beat Prime Ali. I'm not saying Chisora is greater than Ali, Ali is around 100x greater than Chisora. I'm saying in terms of H2H, Chisora would beat Ali.
Key Points
Ali had trouble with bobbers(not weavers)
Ali had serious issues with bobbers or Joe Frazier's style of fighting. Keep in mind I'm not talking about Tyson Bob and Weave style but pure bobbers. (Movement of head followed by hooks to the body in a nonstop) Chisora bobs as well as Frazier ever did. He lacked the skillset of a Frazier but Ali never had issues with Frazier's skills. It was always the first sequence of bob+hook that Ali had issues with. Chisora does the exact same thing.
Ali had trouble with punchers coming from awkward angles.
This is why Norton gave Ali such problems in all their fights. Norton's punches came from various angles that often confused Ali. Chisora showed in the Vitali fight that he threw punches from a variety of angles. I don't believe Ali could handle this and Ali usually did better with single angle fighters(Foreman, Quarry, Williams etc etc)
Ali had trouble against fighters that rope a dope better than he did.
This is a horrific issue Ali had again'st fighters that will lean against the ropes. Holmes.Spinks.Frazier all leaned against the ropes against Ali and all three beat him. Chisora was a rope leaner. Ali often will get reckless and become overexposed agaisnt fellow rope a dopers.
In conclusion, I believe Ali would have serious issues against Chisora in a H2H. Do I think Ali will lose? Yes. It will be a close but clear sort of 7-5.
Ali's resume shyts over Chisora's though.
The thread premise is retarded enough. Then to read him comparing Chisora to Frazier, Norton and Spinks. WTF?
First off. Spinks wasn't some great fighter so I don't know why you are so shocked. I think you are thinking of MICHAEL SPINKS. I'm talking LEON SPINKS. Leon Spinks is basically the old day version of say a Samuel Peter. Who's on par with Chisora.
Second off I never said Chisora was as great as Frazier or NORTON. I said they have similar qualities that troubled Ali.
I'm open to discussion on why you think Frazier's style isn't similar to Chisoras?
Lol people comparing a 6'9 Fury to short Ali. Give it up Ali wouldn't have NEARLY enough power to knock Chisora out. I really can't understand how people don't understand old heavies are modern cruiserweights.

This is the single most ignorant post I’ve ever seen on NSB and that’s saying a lot.
He wouldn't. Put to people who think Ali would make light work of Fury, Wilder and Joshua, that's utterly laughable. I'd take Fury to beat Ali, but great fighters, but Fury has a massive size advantage and would win most rounds on his jab. Ali is not a big puncher. Wilder would lose most rounds to Ali, but he can KO anyone on his given day. Fact. Joshua is tough, hits hard and would put up a very good fight. But I'd fancy Ali to win a decision.
He has to earn creative points just for even mentioning the two together. Ones ALI and the other is a fudge contender that will be forgot in history. How he is even thinking about the 2 at the same time is a mystery,
Btw I was being totally sarcastic with my previous post. Needless to say
Yeah quite i miss I'd say.
I got that :lol1:
Forget that Chisora lost incredibly badly to people who imitated the style of Ali; Fury and Kabayel.
To think that Ali would have anything but a total field day with Chisora, is laughable.

THANK YOU! This thread is long over due. Styles make fights and Ali's is tailored made for Derek's.

Chisora had problems with anyone above domestic/euro level tbf.
Chisora has little to no defense. Fury, Vitali and Haye all pasted him with ease. Ali would simply outbox him, outmove and maybe stop him.
