Do you understand what we were trying to tell you now?
Yea unless he's shot Canelo is getting dominated & stopped. Sergey needs to be sparring small guys & prep properly though, a small target can be extremely difficult to hit, I seen a lot of guys struggle a lot.
Not to be a nit-picking nelly but Alvarez was never a 'power puncher' he was known for being the opposite actually and more of a light punching boxer, which is why everyone basically wrote off Kovalev as being washed after he got badly KO'd by him.
But that's a guy in his own weight class, even the 50% KO ratio guys have the power to KO even the most durable 160lbers like Fonfara did Chavez Jr.
Yes, in the past Kovalev’s weight has hovered around 190 but Against Yarde and in his second fight with Alvarez, Kovalev was closer to 180 than 185. It’s why there is no hydration clause. Originally Gomez had asked Duva about a catch weight for Kovalev, Duva said no. He then asked about a second day weigh in , she said sure. There isn’t a special restrictive one in this fight because it would not achieve anything.
It makes me wonder if this isn’t a miscalculation by Canelo’s camp. They restricted Fielding, Chavez and even Jacobs but now they are in a position of having to fight Kovalev without weakening him first.
If there is no restriction then why did they have to ask for permission to require a second day weigh in?? The WBO has no second day weigh in stipulated in their rules as far as I know. If there is a second day weigh in it's definately a restriction on the amount of weight that Kovalev can come in at. Jacobs declined going to the second day weigh in when he fought Golovkin. He also paid a fine when he fought Canelo for exceeding the second day weigh in limit. Obviously he thought meeting the second weigh in limit would hamper his performance. Canelo's camp obviously thinks it's important or they never would have asked. Don't know if it's actually in effect but if it is.......

Exactly. Look for Kovas camp to TRY to put weight on and use their height, reach, power, and weight to their advantage.
With Yarde stamina was going to be the issue
With Canelo size will be. That and an active and accurate jab
Boxing frame is important.
Kovalev career LHW has a much larger frame and he weighs 190-200 not 180 lol
Canelo might walk around 180, but his frame is not LHW

Yeah, I don't get why people are just expecting Canelo to move up and beat Kovalev so easily. I'm still not sure what him and his team were thinking either. His power didn't even seem too effective at 160.
Kovalev fought Andre freakin' Ward on even grounds in two fights until that bizarre stoppage. Canelo is good but nowhere near the skillset level of Ward nor does he have the size. Sure, Kovalev got stopped by Alvarez, who is a power punching clubber, but he thoroughly washed him in a rematch. Full credit to Canelo if he wins this in style.

You sound like a Canelo fan making it out like he's actually doing something great.
Canelo was bigger and that was 6 years ago and PEDs do help, and his opponent was nearly KTFO and retired only 6 weeks ago.
Please!
Does BSing yourself make you feel better when things don’t go you’re way?
Let me try I think Loma has been juiced to the gills for the last few years and Usyk too you know those two gotta be on those Russian PEDs.
Still laying awake at night in your mom's basement mad that your boyfriend is a drug cheat and lost twice to GGG?

Oh jesus. Another dumb ass making this fight something it isn't.
Two 180 pound fighters, one old, one young. It’s a very good fight but Canelo is favored for a reason.

yall gotta understand that canelo is NOT a small guy... yes, he's fighting in a division he has never fought before but weight wise, that's prolly what he walks around at.
Canelo had a hard time with GGG's jab an Kov's jab is even more devastating. I respect Nelo's wanting to be great but i got Kov by decisive fashion... Kov will be jabbing him to death and possibly hurting him and possibly dropping Nelo.

- -Kov boxrec #1 and Ring #2.
U in #3 grade?
I think you misunderstood my meaning. I wasn't being sarcastic, I genuinely admire Canelo's ambition, maybe you didn't read the rest of what I said but either way, being objective is about following what you feel is the correct perspective. I think Beterbiev would annihilate Kovalev and i'm sure that opinion is shared by the majority, if you disagree then that's fine. I think it's very unlikely Kov is able beat Bivol either for that matter - less sure than I am Beterbiev, but I still feel Kov is the weakest. I should however have tempered my words, instead of saying "we all know Kov is the weakest" I should have said, the majority instead!
You do not need to insult my intelligence if you don't agree :D
