Brook and Khan will NOT be fighting for the IBF title. Not sure who told you that, but it won't happen.
As far as Spence wanting no part of Brook? (some idiot posted) Obviously have not seen Spence fight, besides not being very smart.
Why didn't he fight the #1 or #2 fighter for his mandatory?
Spence is the #1 fighter and mandatory. Jeff Horn is now ranked #2. Spence has been the mandatory challenger for a while now, so not sure if you are talking about Spence or Brook?
IBF isn't going to change their rules, and do not allow step-asides. It's pretty simple.....Brook has to fight Spence next or he will be stripped, and Spence and Horn will fight for the vacant belt. Khan wants a tune-up in april, so why doesn't Brook just fight Spence in April? His mandatories were always so important to him before, but Spence is no Jojodan, Bizer, etc. He is a jackass for holding the belt hostage.
Khan is more money, and a much easier opponent, so that is what he will do.
Please take up your idiocy with someone that has more fucks to give than I do. I wasn't aware that the IBF doesn't allow a step aside fee (which if you...........paid attention would have discerned was the entire premise of my post) when it comes to mandatory challengers.
If you have paid attention to some earlier posts, or cared to find out yourself, you wouldn't have made such a stupid ****ing post. Maybe it is time you give two ****s so you know wtf you are talking about, and don't end up looking like a dumbass.
That's what people said when Maidana was Khan's mandatory, and also the boogieman of the division like Spence is now. Khan took the fight straight away and beat Maidana no problem.[/QUOTE
Beat Maidana no problem? Khan was lucky to have the ref intervene to save him from KO in the 10th round. He won, I'll give him that, but wisely refused any rematch at 147 where Maidana had less weight to melt off, and a new trainer as well.
Khan did what he always does. Look great for 3-5 rounds, then try to survive the rest of the fight.
I actually posted, then read through posts and saw that you couldn't have a step aside fee in the IBF. That's called.......learning. If you managed to be anything other than the scumbag fuck nugget that you are, maybe you could LEARN to become a decent human being one day. Bitch
Next time, educate yourself first and post second. Its a pretty simple concept. Call me every name in the book if you want if it makes you feel better. You are probably a much better keyboard warrior than I am.
Even for a fighter as hungry as Spence I would be hard pressed to find someone who would turn down guaranteed money, and a promise to fight the winner, to just sit on their ass.
Guaranteed money? WTF are you talking about? The ball in in Brook's court...FIGHT OR VACATE. Spence can get what he wants fighting the winner while he has the belt. (Assuming he beats Jeff Horn for the vacant belt) No money deals in between. IBF DOES NOT ALLOW STEP ASIDE DEALS NO MATTER WHAT HEARN AND HAYMON NEGOTIATE.
Why is such a simple concept so hard to understand?
Hopefully those two do fight and when Spence wins he sends a Fk U to Khan. Its time for Amir to hang it up. the 147 division kills him. Every single major player crushes him. 154 would be a massacre so really its over with for the guy. Brook needs to give up on that fight, fight his mandatory or drop the belt. This khan fiasco is done with
Khan could fight Joseito Lopez or Vargas. Even Bradley. All three don't hit too hard.
So Khan doesn't wanna fight Brook, Brook doesn't wanna fight Spence, Spence doesn't wanna fight Bradley, Bradley doesn't wanna fight Vargas...again & Vargas doesn't wanna fight those 4 or 5 guys that I felt deserved the decision over him in close fights that he never gave rematches to either. And apparently JMM doesn't wanna fight Manny for $100M USD/$2B Pesos. And Oscar doesn't want Canelo to fight GGG. And Billy Joe Saunders don't wanna fight his food addiction & belly fat. What in the f#ck maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!
I guarantee you Spence would have no problem fighting Bradley, if it was for a belt. I doubt if Bradley would want that one. It would be stupid for him to fight another eliminator when he is already in line for a belt in IBF.
As far as Bradley vs Vargas, already happened, and easy win for Bradley.
I think the majority of boxing fans, and the majority of anyone that remotely follows boxing thinks Khan is a joke, and has ducked guys that he should be fighting. If I was a hard core Khan fan, I would be down right embarrassed by what he is doing, and shut my mother****ing mouth.
You can't defend a guy like Khan, who is his worst enemy. He wants the biggest fights, had several tune-ups after his losses, and now fights CA? WTF???!!! The guy is currently a laughing stock world-wide, and rightfully so. Showtime even is refusing to show it. The guy gets what he deserves.
the knockdown was perhaps the only round vanes won. maybe 2 or 3 rounds AT BEST
and that was 2 years ago like i said NOBODY at 154 or 160 beats andrade
True. Andrade beat Vanes easier than Charlo or Lara. The late E. Steward said Andrade had better over-all skills than Lara. Add to that being a southpaw, 6'1", and a massive reach makes him trouble for anyone. Lara cited beating him in the amateurs 8 or 9 yrs ago as the excuse to not fight him again. He is the real deal, just needs some opportunities.
Khan has no business being ranked #1 at any welter abc org. He struggled life and death with a 140lber who is basically an amateur. (Algieri)
He should take a tune up before Garcia.....someone like Erroll Spence. (I think Spence KO's him)
He priced himself out for the Brook fight. What a dumb arse.
dr.french Algieri was an ex champ with one loss to Pac.
Algieri is a top opponent and an excellent choice. Much better fighter than Maidana or freaking Berto the Bum.
Why am I not surprised to see Larry spending his Christmas here? And making the usual mentally retarded threads. Sad.
Algieri was a guy that was coming off a loss, and was a ****ing light welterweight! Pacquiao knocked him down 6 times! Better than Maidana of Berto? You are the one that is ****ing retarded.
I see only one or two thinking Spence will take it to Algieri. I am one that will also say Spence will show us why he is hyped. He will either stop Algieri, or beat him very badly. Algieri has no amateur experience, and this isn't kick boxing. Spence's bodywork will break Algieri down and will hurt him in the second half of the fight.
Easy work for Spence, but it is a fact that he does need step up fights to prove he deserves in the top ten at welter. If I am wrong, I will come back here and admit it. Don't think I will have to though.
Wilder has two choices, fight Stiverne as his mandatory, or unify with one of the other champions. It doesn't sound like Parker wants it, and Joshua it sounds like will be fighting Pulev.
No one wants to see him vs Stiverne again, but that is up to the WBC to decide, not Wilder.
Nacho has brought something out in Jr. It was just a weight drain that happened in the Canelo fight. I don't know if Jr banged four women or not to get his watch stolen, but I know he trained like a mad man for Canelo. In the end, Canelo won the fight at the negotiation table and simply went through the motions in the ring with a weight drained zombie. Chavez Jr will bounce back from this. He needs it. What better way to do it then to beat up staredown king David Lemieux. If they fight at 168 Chavez Jr will absolutely destroy this limited puncher. His skill set will be on full display and he won't be drained.
:alcoholic That is some good stuff you must be drinking. Using Chavez Jr. and the words destroying someone has to be some kind of oxymoron.
Take away the fights where he was forced to stop because of injury, he's not lost a fight. Add to this that he was up on the scoredcards at the time of the injuries I think we can safely conclude that nobody can beat him at boxing.
You have got to be kidding. :pat::loser:
Khan has definitely taken too many shots to the head. He has been delusional for a few years now.
Pretty much anyone that tries to defend Khan is simply not too bright.
Quite simple Khan would dominate and probAbly unify all the titles there. He's always said that's his natural weight, and he will end his career there.
You are either joking, or are a relative of Amir Khan.
Khan says he won't fight Brook because he is disrespectful? I sense there is a reason beyond being disrespectful, like he doesn't think he can win. Its the biggest fight out there now for him because he is too disrespectful to get a Floyd or Manny fight.
Collazo and Alexander are good wins, but far from top welterweights. Collazo KO'd Ortiz, who was off for nearly 2 years and got beat by a jr welter before that. Collazo was billed as a KO artist then, when his KO % is less than Khans. Collazo has lost every major fight he has been in. Not even a gatekeeper.
An Alexander win would have got Floyd last year, but since then he was beat down by the lightly regarded Porter. Khan didn't think he could win, or he would have taken that fight.
Put Khan against Brook or Thurman, see what he's got. Instead he will fight someone much safer, and call it another win against a top welter.
He definitely does make an ass out of himself. I still laugh about Freddie Roach saying Khan wanted him to dump Pacquiao and concentrate on training Khan full time. He was actually serious.
Pac fans that defend Arum only make themselves look like idiots. Even the most hardcore Floyd fans say Arum is to blame for the fight not happening more than Pacquiao. Pac needs to grow a pair and stand up to Arum.
Both Pac and Arum say it's the other's choice who he fights.....when it is convenient.
Amir Khan?
Amir Khan is a good boxer, with quick hands, but most of us know it takes more than that to be an elite boxer. He is still flawed in some areas, like most are.
I would like to see him against a big puncher again to see if we are only getting the illusion he is vastly improved or not. His last 4 opponents have been carefully selected to be competitive, but safe fights for him. When he was knocked in his rear-end and wobbled several times against Diaz, he was with Hunter then too.
I do think he has improved, but beating two welterweight gate-keepers doesn't put you on Floyd or Manny's level. Beat Brook, Porter, Thurman, or even Guerrero, then he can talk.
His ultimate goal was to fight and compete well with Floyd, win or at least stay close, then retire at 28. He wants to leapfrog anyone else that will expose him, again.
He won't fight Brook because of disrespect now? He has said some very disrespectful things about Floyd lately. His mouth is his worst enemy.
I can't see Roach risking that fight, he knows a prime Khan could make Pacquiao and Floyd look silly at this point past their primes. Khan would make them both look practically like B-level fighters. I can guarantee that behind-the-scenes Roach is doing all he can to prevent the Khan fight from happening just like Floyd Sr did everything in his power to prevent Floyd from facing Khan.
What the hell are you smoking? Did you see Khan vs Algieri? The light hitting jr welter with NO amateur experience rocked Khan, and many thought he deserved the win. Pacquiao throttled Algieri. You are as delusional as Khan is. OMFG!
