I dont know, how they do these rankings work but he's no 1, Al Haymon knows what he is doing, i think we know where this is going. Bradley was for the IBF, from my understanding Bradley has no interest in that fight (Khan offered his camp a fight 6 weeks ago, no reply) and Khan wasnt going to wait around or get in to a long negotiating process with Al and Top Rank, he wants to fight in May, not in December. I think depending on the outcome of Floyd vs Pac, given Khan is no1 mando for the WBC fight, he will force the fight, or Floyd will drop the title, which i doubt Floyd will. The rankings don't have a set formula like they should have. Nothing that can be scrutinised & petitioned externally. Basically it's at the Board's discretion, meaning they just decide based on the own criteria. Khan's fought a washed up WW and an ex Jnr. WW champ. Both good performances, but how does that make Khan a better prospect than Bradley, Maidana, Porter, Rios & Chaves. They've all faced stiffer competition at WW and many have fewer looses on the their record than Khan. Most importantly, each would be a VERY difficult fight for Khan, much more so than the fights he's taken at WW. The WBC ranking is bogus. Floyd / Manny .... blah blah. Neither will ever fight anybody again for less than $50 mil and Khan doesn't bring those figures. They'll fight each other again for an even bigger purse.

I think the majority of boxing fans, and the majority of anyone that remotely follows boxing thinks Khan is a joke, and has ducked guys that he should be fighting. If I was a hard core Khan fan, I would be down right embarrassed by what he is doing, and shut my mother****ing mouth. You can't defend a guy like Khan, who is his worst enemy. He wants the biggest fights, had several tune-ups after his losses, and now fights CA? WTF???!!! The guy is currently a laughing stock world-wide, and rightfully so. Showtime even is refusing to show it. The guy gets what he deserves.

Also, he turned down Tim Bradley not just Brook to fight Algieri. He's such a pu55y. It doesn't matter anyways because the organizations have been letting Floyd fight whoever he wants the last few years, regardless of where they are ranked. When pacquiao wins I really hope and think he will want to unify the ww division. That would just be the feather In the cap for pacquiao and he would have to be considered top 5 all time, right up with Ali, Louis, and Leonard.

khan claims that he's in the upper echelon of fighters. so he should be fighting them then. quite a few of them are coming off wins. K Brook who is a champion,S porter,A Broner,A Berto, V Ortiz, B Rios,and K Thurman. and khan chose a 140 pounder coming off a loss.

Recently a mere khan chalenged Kell Brook to a "winner take all" fight and Brook immediately took the offer. Now khan is talking about Algieri. It is getting very clear to the boxing world that khan is just a bluffer full of posturing and bullsh*t.

I really don't know why he's so focused on May or PAC ... If PAC wins he's getting less then he would if Floyd wins and even then I'd say he gets around 5M (maybe) ... I'd say he gets around the same money being the A side in a UK type version of Hagler Hearns ... I really don't get it. Maybe, just maybe, it isnt about money for Khan Brook/khan is not comparable to hagler/hearns

Brook has one good win so he just needs to keep fighting top opposition and not worry about Khan. Khan trying to secure major fight while Brook still trying to get a decent fighter. I like both fighters but in a fight i would favor Khan
