I think the question should be does Taylor have a chance againts Pavlik..I think Pavlik is going to beat Taylor most likely by TKO..this guys hits hard and has a huge heart he showed it againts Miranda
nice call :friday:
What about Khan then?
Rees has a major belt... Khan doesn't. :tapedshut
The only reason rees has that belt is because m'baye was fighting the stupidest fight ever, letting him come in close constantly
1. Joe Calzaghe - Super-middleweight
2. David Haye - Cruiserweight
3. Ricky Hatton - Light-welterweight
4. Junior Witter - Light-welterweight
5. Enzo Maccarinelli - Cruiserweight
6. Clinton Woods - Light-heavyweight
7. Alex Arthur - Super-featherweight
8. Carl Froch - Super-middleweight
9. Nicky Cook - Featherweight
10. Amir Khan - Lightweight
Looks pretty good to me, its to early for rees to be considered
I don't know about that. He took quite a few flush shots and it was the quantity of power punches that finished him in the corner. That would of finished nearly everyone out there.
In the 2nd round Enzo took two flush rights pretty close to eachother, it was just hayes good finishing that had him
Agreed.
If Haye hits you that many times, you're gone. I knew straight away the fight was over and I was shouting at the screen for him to take a knee.
Yee, even Enzo said after the fight he should have
"I made a mistake, simple as. I caught him in the first round with a short left hook but I didn't jump in and do what I should have done and in the second round I put my chin up in the air and he caught me, jumped in and finished me off," he said.
"I should have taken a knee, but I didn't and he jumped in and showed he's a good finisher."
the cruiserweight division is there for the taking, no chacne will he ever be a big name though...hell get a belt back within 2-3 fights though
Ye, i can never see him getting the same following as someone like Haye
When a fighter shows heart and tries his hardest is one, i never liked Jermain taylor, but after the fights with pavlik i have respect for him
When someone takes on the best opposition available is another, but that rarely occurs..
I loose respect when a fighter puts on a "shannon briggs" type performance, and puts in no effort
