Hatton needs to close Mayweather down at every opportunity and not let him run.He needs to put pressure on him and close the ring down.Get in close and make it scrappy.
Anyone who bought that duddy-bonsante PPV should give the Samaritians a call.
Duddy has a lot of support in the States.
Why not put his fight PPV?
I'm sure it paid off and a lot of money was made.
And as for anyone paying to see the fight...why not!
If you support Duddy then you'll want to see him fight.Turned out a decent fight too.
PPV?, You expect people to pay to watch duddy?
PPV should be for big money fights, de la hoya, mayweather, and the like, duddy?, duddy is a prospect, he shouldnt be headlining ppv's at this stage in his carrer, especially against a bum like bonsante.
Did it make money?
I'd say yes...a lot of money as a lot of people wanted to watch it.
That means it was worth Duddy's Team putting it on PPV.
Didn't bother me at all.Just went out to the pub and then back with a few mates to watch it so made a night of it.
It's the 4:00am fights that bother me but that's life.
George Mitchell is a super cutman.Anyone who seen John Duddy's fights that he got cut in will know what I mean. He's closed cuts and stopped bleeding that looked impossible to do.
Any could beat him today
I wanna see Maklin vs Duddy. Thats probably a great fight
I think this fight will definitely happen sometime.
Maybe after Duddy loses for the first time or if/when he returns home to Ireland.
This is a God send.I sat up til 6:15am on Sunday morning waiting for the Duddy fight and Sky Sports didn't have time to show it so I missed out.
Thanks a lot mate.
I agree that he did get caught a lot last time out but I think he has a good chin (Irish men usually do).Still only a prospect but hopefully he'll go all the way.
steward says he is the real deal and i trust manny over anyone who posts here....
Have seen a lot of Andy Lee in his amatuer days and he always stood out.
Definitely one to watch.Very good prospect.
Fought at the Olympics too.
I'd eat my own semen if that doesn't make FOTY.
Will you be having chips with that?
OK,it was a great fight but with over 10 months of the year left there will be better ones.
Someone post this damn fight, I want to see it.
We can't see here in the States obviously.
Try:

EDIT:Maybe this is audio only :(
something i noticed when i watched him against bonstante caught my eye, how come all his american fans bring the green, white and gold flags to his fights when he is from northern ireland??
Playing devils advocate here Adam.
I'm sure you already know the answer to this as you live just across the water.
Hopefully John will fight in Ireland and then we can see him live over here.
Bernard Dunne went to the States and then came back here to stay.
I think John will return to the States though.
No doubting Lee is an excellent prospect. He's a better boxer than Duddy but I think it'd be a good fight.Duddy has more power so who knows who would win.
LOL it aint even on in the UK,i was gna sit in n watch it on my TV,i checked the TV and it aint even listed, now i gota watch it on stream,if anyone in the UK knows if this will be shown today letme know, but as far as i can see,Sentana aint showing it live today
It was on Live on Setanta Sports 2 along with the undercard.
I watched it.
I dont know how a 35 year old campas fighting @ middlewieght is a "great" fighter or how getting buckled by that fighter at least 2x makes makes duddy "tough as nails."
It was a tough fight against a vastly experienced opponent and he came through it.What's the problem?
All part of the learning curve.Duddy still has plenty of time left before he's the finished article.
Promoter Frank Warren has rejected European cruiserweight champion David Haye's offer to fight Wales' WBO champion Enzo Maccarinelli.
Haye's team have offered Maccarinelli £150,000 for the fight, but Warren said the sum was not enough and added that Haye had demanded £250,000.
"Enzo is world champion and should be taking the lion's share," said Warren.
"Asking for £250,000 for Haye is outrageous. If Haye is so confident, he should step up and take a few risks."
Warren added: "Haye fights in front of a few hundred people at (London's) York Hall.
"Meanwhile, Maccarinelli is a genuine world champion, appears on prime time ITV and personally sold 3,000 tickets for one of his fights."

A clash between Maccarinelli and Londoner Haye has been mooted for some time.Maccarinelli, 26, has lost one of his 26 fights and claimed his world title this year when long-time champion Johnny Nelson retired.
After the first defence of his crown, a one-round defeat of Mark Hobson in October, he said he wanted to challenge WBC and WBA title-holder O'Neil Bell of Jamaica.
Haye, also 26, has lost one of his 18 encounters and made three defences of his European crown.
His clash with Italy's Giacobbe Fragomeni was billed as an eliminator for the WBC belt, but Haye's team say they now want Maccarinelli in April.
"We're looking at doing a no strings and no titles-attached 12-rounder for April," said Haye's manager and trainer Adam Booth.
"It is a fight everyone in Britain, and given the rankings and reputations both fighters are gaining, the world will want to see.
"I'm not sure whether it is Warren or Maccarinelli shying away from the fight. It must be one of them though."
However, Warren claimed Booth suggested he was not interested in the fight in previous discussions. "Adam Booth has gone on record to say they are interested, but I've had conversations with him and he has told me they are looking to go in a different direction."
