Wtf !!! Duddy Fights A 19 Year Old Boy

Any could beat him today I wanna see Maklin vs Duddy. Thats probably a great fight I think this fight will definitely happen sometime. Maybe after Duddy loses for the first time or if/when he returns home to Ireland.

Thats probably a great fight that would be a good fight and macklin would have every chance. prefer macklin's style to duddys tbh. as for prince arron, he came in at a weeks notice having fought last weekend. he's a very green fighter who had no right being in the same ring as john duddy and this was just really bad desperate match-making to make sure duddy could still appear on the show. crowd still cheered their asses off though.

he fought the guy cause hes 6'3 and hes preparing to fight the 6'2 pavlik, not cause he didnt have power there really arent that many 6'2 middleweights to choose from as a tuneup, believe it or not well that makes a little more sense.pavlik by decapitation.

I kid you not when I say that Gatti has more boxing ability that Duddy...which is sad. Duddy is one of those guys who can be picked apart with ease. i dont understand why thats a reason to not root for the guy though. Duddy is one of the nicest guys in boxing... period. Maybe you dont root for him against a guy like Pavlik, cause Pavlik is also a nice guy, but right now against guys like Campas and Prince, you should be rooting for him and hoping he gets knocked out!!! ANyway, the fact of the matter is, Duddy struggled with Princes height for a minute or 2, and if Prince had a better jab, or even a decent jab, it would have been a long night. Pavlik wins EASY and FAST. It would take 3 or 4 straight right hands to land flush to end it, and Pavlik could probably do that in the first round against Duddy

But this boxer he is fighting really sucks, check his resume out. It's not about his age. It's about how this boxer has no power what so ever to even hurt duddy with. I still no problem at all with Duddy fighting a 19 year old. The problem is the fighter had no right to be in there with a seasoned fighter like Duddy. If you're upset that Duddy is fighting a 19 year old. Then you've never been a boxer. Theres 19 year olds that can fight and are as strong as any boxer in the game. Take for instance Fernando Vargas won title at 21. Juan Diaz won his title at what 20 years old. W. Benitez at 17. There amature boxers 16 years old that can beat up a man that is in his 20's boxing is not for the weak, somtimes age gap doesn't mean shit.

I saw an ancient Yory Boy snapping Duddy's head back like a cork-screw with every type of punch there is. That fight was close and hotly contested throughout which tells me that Duddy is all but a local attraction to the NYC area who can't handle even way past it elite comp so what's he gonna do when he steps up to a guy whose going to eat his best punches all night long.....RIP John Duddy.

duddy has the body of a 16 year old boy so its a fair fight That was the most PATHETIC display of courage i have ever seen by the Prince. He needs to question whether or not he wants to keep fighting for money. He clearly just went in there, and took a dive cause he didnt want to get hit. I commend anyone who goes in the ring, but not if they are gonna waste peoples money like that. On a side note, that Prince guy has a pretty weak one-two, but he landed the right hand FLUSH a few times in the first round. Pavlik should have NO problem taking Duddy out in the first few rounds
