foty candidate kat v earl - vid

everyone needs to see this fight (i didn't watch on youtube, but i saw it in it's entireity and i'd assume it would have the same effect that i saw).. it has Fight of the year AND Round of the year (2nd) nominations in the bag already if you haven't seen it yet, check youtube or otherwise...

the fight was quite onesided... Hopefully we get a few better fights this year, but that was really something special Definetaly 2007 is the year of the super fight there are way to many good fights yet to happen this could definetaly be a candidate for fight of the year but there are still too many good fights to happen. :boxing:

Hagler-Hearns was pretty one-sided too, so that shouldn't take away from this brawl being FOTY. Katsidis' chin may not be iron, but it's better than good enough given the other shots he took flush from Earl... As somone stated before, with Hagler - Hearns or Foreman - Frazier ur talking great great fighters. Big names, the toughest guys out there. No one in the world could of done to Frazier what Foreman did. Hagler was hurt and came back to KO one of the biggest punchers ever. Anyway. Katsidis - Earl had an amazing 2nd round, but it wasnt as great as it was said to be.

You can watch the whole fight in one stream on www.frankwarren.tv Must say that the stoppage was prob the right thing. I personally don't think earl won the 5th. Katsidis had him on the ropes the whole round and was landing with a lot of clean shots. Earl was just swinging away to try to survive, and Katsidis was taking alot of it on the gloves.

I watched it with my dad and we were both wincing in that 4th round, Earl was taking so many flush shots. Found it strange his corner stopped the fight after he had just won the 5th round, should have given him the 6th. Katsidis looks like a decent prospect but his chin would definatly be a worry.

i watched that fight with my family.. they thought it was borderline dangerous for both of their healths. i feel there is a very slim line between entertainment and danger, so im glad it was stopped before earl was knocked out cold on the canvas. while my family thought it was brutal punishment, i felt it a privilage to be watching such a fantastic fight.

No shortage of excitement but bit lacking in quality to be FOTY for my money. Katsidis threw a lot of punches but at one poine earl was backed up on the ropes and he was repeatedly cuffing him on the top of the head. 10/10 for excitement though.

I'd eat my own semen if that doesn't make FOTY. Will you be having chips with that? OK,it was a great fight but with over 10 months of the year left there will be better ones.

that whole fight was amazing i hated the way it ended the cut wasnt that bad and he was catching dude

it was just bombs away. i cant explain why it isnt working for you guys all worked for me.

Round 2 should maybe win ROUND OF THE YEAR. Thats certainly worthy of it

Foreman/Frazier was one sided, didn't stop it from becoming FOTY. Yea but there were between two of the biggest names in the sport, and they happened to be in the glamour division. AND, it was quite a shock that the fight ended so early.

PARTS 4 and 5 arent working yet. BUT that 2nd round was awsome!!!! does this work. I remember hearing about the towel thing, but i had never actaully seen it happen. Boy, i bet the corner thanked the referee after that! lol
