He's very smug when he dismisses the weaknesses in other men's resume's. They all praise him, call him a legend, underrated, honest etc. What exactly are froch's acheivements (in relative terms, i mean on the world level). Kessler lost in any big fight he had...but he beat Froch once. Froch lost to Dirrell, Ward and Kessler. That's so fkin average to me. I can't believe a guy on that level gets talked about like a legend.

Had he been knocked out, I would have found it funny. However, looking back at the fight, that headclash was deliberate, not accidental. 8:04 yLook at the direction, momentum and speed of his head moving. Then when they got started again, Spark's grabbed Love behind the head with his left hand, forced it down and gone for his damaged left eye with some serious venom and as love has tried to get out of the hold, Spark's the one holding and pulling to the ropes. Eddie was very transparent in interviews when he spoke of AJ's sponsors. Eg AJ is sponsored by William Hill, whilst Queensbury are sponsored by 32red. That clash means if AJ fought Fury on a queensbury card, either he or they would have to give up that sponsor and I don't think that's possible if he's subject to a contractual obligation (again something eddie has highlighted). Though i don't know which sponsor it is, this one sticks out. Quite rightly, he added that it takes time to work around those issues between the sponsors/contracts. AJ likewise said 'ive left it to my lawyers'. Eddie then mentioned that he suggested a co-promotional event to solve the issue, but the other side (ie bricktop) didn't want that. Likewise, Fury's constant deadlines were proof it was a load of BS. Now, Frank Warren could make the case that 'AJ's issues arent mine, this is either a queensbury card or it doesnt happen', in which case NO ONE can blame eddie hearn or aj. When he lost to Diaz, something was clearly wrong with him during the fight. It looked like he was having a seizure. Diaz even told him he could have a rematch if he wanted it. I know Eddie's become very cutthroat in the US market eg the way he binned off Anthony Sims jr, but the annoying **** doesn't even acknowledge their existence once he's through with them. He'll only give them a second thought if they become relevant again. He was a very active fighter and already had a lot of Ls on his record so one more loss wasnt a big deal to me.. Would have liked to have seen him vs Gary Russel jr at least. What is up with him? It's now over 21 months since he lost to Diaz.

I've seen these type of comments from a lot of pro deontay wilder/pbc fans online..so i've got to say this. 1) With Ortiz, it wasnt merely his stated age, but that he was supposed to be a lot older in reality. There have been guys who've questioned anthony joshuas resume, like charlene the queen asking aj 'who you fought?' and then says 'like an ortiz?' (he was spoonfed that propaganda too). no one bigged up povetkin like that. neither aj nor whyte. povetkin is respected as a good opponent and a tough fight. Whyte is expected to win, but it's expected to be a tough fight. There's a possibility, even whyte admits, that he could lose to povetkin. However no one is building up a win over povtkin as the acheivement to beat all acheivements.

Begin with Tyson's defence/chin/legs. The idea is that Tyson Fury put on weight, came in at 274lbs and because of this additional weight, Wilder couldnt put him down. I find this one hard to believe. In the first fight, Wilder put him down twice, in the 12th in almost devastating fashion. Did 14lbs+ magically give TF a chin to the point where Wilder landed HEAVY blows and TF wasnt even bothered? That isnt possible. Even if TF had stronger legs, the contrast between the 2 fights was too much. what is far more likely is that Wilder's legs WERE weak (forget the costume trolling) for whatever reasons. Maybe even he doesnt know what it really was? Maybe it was just one of those nights? Keep in mind that there are some chavs who think Tyson Fury put on 14lbs of muscle and that was the big difference maker. That is not possible so soon. more likely a bit of muscle, more water/glycogen and fat..and that doesnt make a huge difference in defence. The other is that TF changed his style and 'put it on Wilder' but again that doesnt explain how TF magically developed a chin. In fact this change in TF's style, made it easier for Wilder to land clean...and he did, so it goes back to Tyson magically developing a chin... it's more than likely Wilder had an offnight and didn't have the power he would normally have. in that case, IF he shows up in the rematch back to his usual self, he could well knock Tyson out cold.

Compare that to American amateur boxing, where the USA team from 1999 to 2015 were given $14m (£10.6m). so the GB boxing set up has received £14m over 4years from 2016 to 2020 the US has only received $14m in 16 years from 99 to 15. This is even worse when you consider at one stage the value of the pound to dollar was much higher, i remember buying US dollars at $1.9 to the pound around 2005. so that $14m is more like £8-9m..over a 16 yr period. This is a pretty sad story tbh. I remember Angel Garcia talking about how bad it was at amateur level. I also believe race comes into it. The GB set up, even without going to the olympics the likes of tony Bellew, BJS, Josh Taylor, Groves and many many more went through that system, they all trained in the same gyms around olympic coaches. From the uk perspective, amateur/olympic boxing is multicultural. There aren't many white people in the US set up. I imagine a load of coloured kids..and therefore i imagine the US government not giving a single **** about them. I also put this down to the fact that the US government used to spend heavily on athletes at olympic level during the cold war era to beat the Russians. Both the Russians and Americans were heavily into PED use. The fallout/bad press from that aswell as the lack of incentive there was during the cold war era...and deep down that race issue too prob led to the US government basically abandoning funded into olympic level boxing. the US has 5x the population of britain and it was over a 16yr period. In comparison to that £14m figure the UK team have received, the US should have received £280m...not a measley $14. you can imagine the number of facilities, state of the art equipment, coaches, sports scientists etc..right down to scouting talent that US amateur boxing has missed out on. I know this sounds corny...but the US really is the land of rugged individualism and to make it through all of that..youve got to have a special quality about you. honestly...ive got a little bit of extra respect for those elite american boxers who did make it through now and it explains why people would rather go through other sports where they have the coaches and facilities.

I like everything about this guy (from what he portrays, personality/attitude wise). He's respectable, really well behaved, never talks crap and he's game for anyone in the division. No ****s given. Being American in a market where American HWs are badly needed to promote good fights in the US, he will be in demand even with Ls on his record, so at the very least we're going to HOPEFULLY see him box all the big names.
