Oh dear.
Yes, it's great fun to laugh at the kids who are suicidal because the object of their affections lost, but surely it would be better not to make yourself look just as retarded?
:rofl:Exactly.... This kid can't help it
BOB ARUM ENSHRINED ON “WALL OF SHAME”
October 8th, 2009 By RingTalk
THE SHEIK JOINS THE “WALL OF SHAME”
Las Vegas, NV- Bob Arum is the most powerful man in boxing! As the man behind the Top Rank promotional firm, Arum, a Harvard graduate in the late 1950s, became a United States Attorney under then Attorney General Robert Kennedy. While collecting tax money from a Sonny Liston heavyweight title defense circa 1962, Arum was bitten by the boxing bug. After the assassination of President John Kennedy, Arum felt the need to resign his position with the “G” and became a boxing promoter.
PUT THIS “QUOTE” ON ARUM’S TOMBSTONE!
With Muhammad Ali his first client, Arum has been involved in big fights since the mid 1960s. His most famous quote is, “Yesterday I was lying, but today I’m telling the truth.”
MET WITH & THEN SENT BRIBE MONEY TO LEE
In the mid 1990s, Arum committed a host of Felonies when he admittedly gave then IBF President Bob Lee over $100,000 as a “bribe” to allow George Foreman, then heavyweight champ, to fight Axel Schultz instead of a top contender. He accomplished this by laundering the money through Europe with then booking agent Stan Hoffman. Shortly thereafter, Arum admitted such in a US Dept. of Justice affidavit that was published here at RingTalk.com. The fallout saw Arum fined in a number of states, while unable to promote in Arizona.
ARUM SUED IN LAS VEGAS
This writer sued Arum after he was quoted in a Las Vegas newspaper stating, “He (Pedro Fernandez) isn’t a real boxing writer.” Arum settled out of court for $10,000.
“THE SHEIK” IS WORTH BETTER THAN $200 MILLION
Now close to 80 years of age, Arum is still the most powerful man in boxing! One could only debate whether that would be the case if Don King had admitted to such crimes. We welcome Bob “The Sheik” Arum to the Ring Talk “Wall of Shame.”
shut this thread down
Wow that writer sued him for saying he wasn't a real writer. What a pathetic and frivolous lawsuit.
"USADA is promising riders a sweetheart deal if they can produce anything harmful on Armstrong," Herman said. "A rider who has doped, they tell them, 'If you can finger Armstrong, we'll get out the eraser ... and everything is cool.'"
You're ok with an agency erasing the books of someone who cheated in the past because they told on someone else?
Big deal That is the whole judicial system. That is standard operating procedure everywhere in the world.
benn punched him in the back of the head the entire fight.. Ive never seen that many hard rabbit punches connect in one fight Pffft that is the worst right there, Benn should have been arrested for it, that is a dangerous dangerous punch to get hit with once, never mind the whole fight.
Check this new low point for *****'s!
Apparently now coming third means you can call yourself the Olympic champion!
What do you expect from a generation of kids who got medals for coming in 42nd place? His family was big on celebrating mediocrity...
I don't think Joe Fraizier was big enough to give wald any trouble. Wald hits to hard Joe is to small and maybe hittable. Wald would probably stop him like Goerge foreman did.
Nah, Castillo did better than Cotto scorecard wise, for sure.
most people with brains know that tonight was very competitive, but a clear Mayweather win.
Unlike the 1at Castillo fight, where you can make a very strong argument for a Castillo win.
that's bull it wasn't a clear win. it was an even fight that mayweather pulled out in the 12th. he ran all night but cotto basically quit for 2 rounds in the middle. the score cards and letterman where frauds obviously looking to save the mayweather pac fight. anyone giving cotto only 2-3 rounds should be shot or surgically removed from mayweathers ball bag period.
According to fanboy "logic" all you need to do to win a round against Mayweather is land flush a few times. And if you make his nose bleed you should win automatically by TKO.
easy to call anyone who disagrees with you a fanboy. its called rationalization.
The fix is in!
I thought Mayweather won the fight. He sealed the deal in the 12th. The scorecards were a disgrace as usual. The scorecards have been disgusting in almost every fight in the last 6 years. The judges are taking money to protect the house fighter and or a bigger fight every fight. They don't even try to hide it anymore. It's the new WWF. Goldenboy is as bad as top rank.
Cotto could have dominated 11 and 12, dropped mayweather and only get a majority draw.
43-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great fight! Cotto was able to find Floyd some in the middle rounds, and even drew blood, and was consistent with pressure for most of the fight but Floyd demonstrated that he is a class above his competition once again!
Did anyone here him take a host at Manny before he was mentioned to him during the interview!? "no "catchweight" :lol1: priceless.
Great job by Canelito too, too bad they put him on blast by saying he wasn't ready during the post-fight interview.
:rofl::rofl::rofl: cheerleader in the house
i really really underestimated cotto's trainer.....cotto just gassed out. floyd is a warrior and anybody who didn't think he would go toe to toe with floyd got proved wrong. i wish cotto would've given a post fight interview.
cottos trainer overtrained him but be real mayweather only went toe 2 toe a little he mostly ran all night.
Floyd won that fight clearly. I don't know why this is even up for debate. I remember thinking the same thing about Manny/JMM 3. (And that fight was A LOT closer than this one.) I watched Manny/JMM 3 and thought Manny clearly won either 8-4 or 7-5. He won CLEARLY. And I am the furthest thing from Pacquiao supporter, but that being said, the man won.
People need to give Floyd his props. He absolutely whipped Cotto on the inside. He could have easily boxed from the outside and boxed a shutout, but he gave the fans some action. And he's still getting ripped for it.
In the hater's eyes, this man can do NOTHING right.
It was an exceptional performance from both men, so let's just leave it at that.
the bottom line is he did not dominate the fight. the score cards said he did. that's my issue with this and other fights. boxing will not allow an upset. the underdog has to do twice as much to win. the odds or upcoming fights should not effect the scoring and they do.
"I see you trollin', you hatin'....."

again rationalizing. the world doesnt revolve around your opinion.
JUST BECAUSE A FIGHTER DOES BETTER THAN EXPECTED DOESN'T MEAN HE WON.
You got to score the fight fairly. You can't give rounds to Cotto just because he's exceeding expectations.
yeah i know that. you should take your own advice. i never had low expectations first of all. i knew cotto would be competitive. you're biased for mayweather. you think the fights all about him. you just want to justify what he does and doest do. you and the rest of his hard core fans start out wanting to give mayweather the rounds thats a fact. the opponent has to do twice as much as him to win a round. in a close round you guys look for anything to justify giving it to floyd. its so obvious.
I mean, I get it. Cotto was hitting Floyd more than people are used to seeing. But were they closing their eyes when Floyd was landing huge, chopping right hands at will?
;12086731']Stop.
Just because he didn't dominate doesn't mean he didn't win.
same as above and i thought he won i said that if you read. the bs part is the cards in this and other fights.
he showed he can go life and death with a dude pac demolished and that he can't keep his excuses straight on why he can't fight pac. floyd anus rubbers out in full force cheerleading pom poms held high. sucking his balls like a hoover eating it all up. pathetic!
Anybody that thinks Pac can touch Floyd are off in the head , he will make Pac look stupid , Cotto was 10 pds above where Pac fought him , bigger and stronger and he was in great shape and came to win , best stamina Cotto has shown , Floyd is amazing his skills are unreal , gee if he had KO power he would be blowing everybody out of 3 divisions with not a CW in site .
Mosley fought a great fight Canello is a little over rated , maybe the weight is what Mosley needs at this stage of the game seems to flatten him at 147 , hope he retires though .
queers like you ruin this site. you relentlessly blow 1 fighter and get mad insulting and offended when others don't agree. thats whats off in the head
The most annoying opening to date. 50 and floyd are at it again, jerking each other off, feel like turning this **** off already.
I'm not even doing the interview, I'm going out back to beat off my boy 50 LOL:gay:
Comments, I'M going to win? I'm the best ok beat Pacquio then and quit the bs excuses? Mayweather Sr is jacked as **** for an older gentlemen. Cotto is looking punchy as a mofo.
it was a much much better fight that i expected. i have a newfound respect for cotto. and floyd proved he could outfight cotto. so all those who questioned his comments before the fight, u guys just got it wrong.
and yes floyd looked gassed in this fight, but ive seen him look the same way in the augustus fight when he got his nose broken. cotto really did himself a favor in hitting him constantly with that jab. cotto's new trainer is the truth. expect him to become a rising star. the gameplan was very thoughtout and articulate. so while i thought cotto/pac should never happen again, hey, in 2 or 3 more fights, who knows.
but at the end of the day, theres only one money. and tonite, he continued to prove why hes the best
not really me and some others think cottos trainer over trained him. he gassed in the middle of the fight and did nothing for 2 rounds.
You may be right, but do you really think Pac would step up like Floyd and fight Cotto at that weight with no catch wheight? I seriously doubt at and to me, that speaks volumes about Pac and how great he is supposed to be. Believe me, I think Pac IS great, but he couldn't have done what Floyd did tonight. Just how I see it.
why would he? Pac is not a jr middle weight. he's barely even a welterweight.
Good to see Floyd show his daddy some respect. Floyd and 50 cent are inseperable, does Floyd think its cool to have his boy around so much.
Cotto seems focused, and its a win win for him. If he wins, great, if he loses, nice paycheck and no bob arum
Yeah because now that mayweather is a hardcore gangsta about to do a bid he thinks he has street cred. he probably thinks him and 50 are really gang members in g unit.
As far as having his friend around It's really more like they're boyfriend and girlfriend because they didn't grow up or go to school together. its more like they met a few years ago and started dating
