How many fighters at 5'9 have this kind of reach? Seems like he gets serious leverage on punches on the outside that most of his opponents expect to just graze them - massive advantage he has, even Mayweather who was known for his big reach advantage for his height is eclipsed by this abnormal reach. I'm sure this is higher than the average middleweight and even super middleweight reach.

Spence was used to fighting these mediocre guys and having his way with them, plodding forward and doing his thing, but he never faced a guy with multiple dimensions to his game. Spence would have whipped that version of Pac that called him out as Pac was done at that stage, but prime Pac puts an ass whooping on Spence, no ifs buts or maybes. I'm not dunking on Spence either I like his style and mentality, I'm a fan.

He lost a lot of respect from that fight, although I had it a draw, and not a Pac/Bradley situation, the fact is the vibe and aftermath feels the same. Haney came out of this fight looking bad in the eyes of fans and pundits, whether you find that justifiable or not. Secondly, fans will be pushing for the rematch, and although Loma will be a year older, Haney is really struggling to make weight at 135 and the weight cut may be too much for him. Third, he gets found out at 140, which is a weak division. But he doesn't have the strength, power or chin to hang at 140 and certainly not at 147. He couldn't put a dent in little old Loma and hasn't had a knockout in 4 years at lightweight. He'll soon get found out and he's lucky he's avoided Gervonta thus far.

Say what you will about Gervonta, Shakur, Loma etc. But rarely do they look as lost and vulnerable in victory as Haney does. Was twerking all over the ring against Linares, confused against Diaz, struggled bad against an old small Loma and could have been stopped if Loma stepped it up... Gervonta Davis will knock him the f*ck out and Shakur Stevenson will beat him too.

Haney is gonna shut Loma out completely unless that was just a really bad off night for Loma. Haney has that high activity in your face style that gives Loma hell.

Canelo's resume takes a giant steaming dump over Crawfords.. Trout, Angulo (haters said he'd beat Nelo), Lara, GGG, Jacobs, BJS, Plant... Yet a lot of these same strident haters of Nelo have anointed a 35 year old with 2 good wins as the p4p number 1, and many have him above Canelo. It's crazy. BJS and Plant are arguably better than anyone on Crawford's resume.

Not since Pacquiao has a guy consistently been smaller both in weight and dimensions (height/reach). Sick to death of the hate he gets on here. He's beaten elite guys one after the other who are clearly naturally bigger than him. And he is still the best p4p on the planet.

I used to mock him quite a bit for his chin but you have to credit his warrior spirit. But he's taken worrying worrying punishment. The Prescott decimation, Garcia brutal punches after the first knockdown, even Maidana gave him a pasting (his best win and his best performance imo, peak Khan there), the Canelo near-death experience, and last but not least the Brook battering. I've probably even missed some pastings which is worrying. His speech isn't as coherent as it used to be either and he's only 35. I hope he's okay. His team have been quite unethical and greedy, haven't done things in his best interests, they just saw ££$$$£$ and milked him. Whoever gave the Canelo fight the green light should have been fired, that was the most ridiculous mismatch I've seen since Garcia Salka.

Dude is very handsome, with some good promotion and showcase fights he could be the second face of the sport and be the second highest earner imo.

I mean the age factor scares me, the dude is almost 43. So we can't be too confident. But I've always maintained prime Pac would whip Spence with ease. Speed. Is Pac still faster than Spence? Yes. I think he's more powerful too (people will disagree on this). 0:39. Pac is right here about speed. Assuming your chin is good, and you've got good fundamentals. It's always hard to overcome a fighter faster than you. Speed is the deciding factor, always. You're always playing catchup with the other guy when you can't see his punches coming, struggle to time him, and get beaten to the punch. I remember Pac commenting on the Floyd Canelo fight, saying Canelo needs to be careful because Floyd is faster than him. First of all I'm favouring Spence in this fight, prime Pac clearly beats Spence IMO, but that's another debate. Why are people emphasizing Spence's southpaw stance as a stylistic threat to Pac though? If we look at the guys PAC has struggled with they've all had a sniper straight right. Marquez, Floyd, Morales and co. Look at the guys he's obliterated, weak or no straight right - Cotto, Hatton. And this was shown last night. "Muh skillz" will only get you so far. Unless you're once in a generation slick like Floyd or Willie Pep you're going to get outhustled by someone with elite power and chin if you can't keep them honest. Floyd had enough pop to keep guys honest, even up to light middleweight. I could see that Booty Dew coming way before Haney supposedly started trying to please the fans, I regret not posting about it in the fight thread. Fundamentals and skills are important, but they only get you so far. Talent = Speed, power, chin, endurance. Haney has the speed and endurance, but his power is crap and his chin is questionable. When's the last time someone ruled their division without having good power?

No power, questionable chin, pretty simple really. Give him all the skills in the world, it doesn't matter. If you can't gain an opponents respect with your power eventually someone's going to run through you. And that will happen soon with Haney.
