Not since Pacquiao has a guy consistently been smaller both in weight and dimensions (height/reach). Sick to death of the hate he gets on here. He's beaten elite guys one after the other who are clearly naturally bigger than him. And he is still the best p4p on the planet.
Pacquiao got bodied whenever he tried to fight significantly bigger boxers without a catchweight. Remember Jeff Horn? This was a terrible attempt to suck Pacquiao's dick while wanking off Canelo.
. Canelo is ****ing huge. Don't try to pretend he's undersized at 175. He was planning to fight at cruiserweight, too. Was he not? The fact is Bivol outclassed Canelo in skill and smarts. It wasn't about weight. Canelo just got exposed.
Don't give me this nonsense.
Canelo is not 'f*cking huge' by any stretch of the imagination.
He's a blown up super-middleweight at most.

Also I love how Canelo fans went from talking about him fighting Uysk at a catchweight to pretending he's this tiny guy who's a natural welterweight. Canelo is fucking huge. Don't try to pretend he's undersized at 175. He was planning to fight at cruiserweight, too. Was he not? The fact is Bivol outclassed Canelo in skill and smarts. It wasn't about weight. That resume takes a giant steaming dump on Terence fking Crawford's resume.
:twak:
That's the only argument you have.
You are 100% wrong.
The fact that Bivol murdered Canelo last night, but all those guys like Plant/Smith/Sauders got whooped by him. Is just proof that all those bums he fought after Lara were as overrated as we said they were.
When Bud beats Spence this fall, only a complete fool would argue canelo has a better resume.
Hilarous that this is what people call a good resume. The best prime name on there is a guy who had to cheat, use drugs and bail out of a fight w Demetrius Andrade.
He’s an ATG but when you look at the resume it’s a bit underwhelming.

Doesn’t that even out when you’re a fighter who has the record for most catchweight fights? I think he’s had around 10 catchweight fights and the way he jumps up and down weight classes is weird and not strategic. When you look at his last 8 fights it’s not that impressive. I don’t think height/weight would be a factor when you facing these type of guys. Especially when you force rehydration clauses on old guys like Kovalev.

PLANT- NOT ELITE
CALLUM SITH - NOT ELITE
BJS - NOT ELITE
KOVALEV - KOED TWICE AND WAS DRINKING IN CAMP - NO LONGER ELITE
FIELDING-NOT ELITE
He cherry picked white western european fighters to make him look like god but the minute he fought a prime eastern european he got schooled. Only elite guy he fought was a past prime ggg

All apart from the Smith bros are naturally bigger than him.
That dude hid behind Bob Arum for years, now comes out with his cane and grey hair talking about he wants the best. Shawn Porter, Woopdie fcking doo. About damn time.

It is incredible what he has done. Beating Bivol would have made him the greatest latino boxer of all time imo.
When round 1 started, I told my wife “holy fck Bivol is huge!”
I thought Bivol could have definitely won, but ultimately I did think Canelo would pull it off. I still think he can. But I predicted Canelo would win in a very close fight. I was wrong. Bivol was just too damn big and too damn skilled and had excellent defense.
But what a lot of critics don’t seem to understand, I mean those accusing Canelo of ducking this guy or that guy, is that Bivol is a very big, very skilled fighter. In relation to his size, he is highly skilled. Charlo and Andrade would be much easier opponents because they are not as big. Tall, yes. But they are Middleweights.
Big props to Canelo for taking this fight. I’ve been saying this, no one is taking challenges like Canelo other than Usyk and Lomachenko. No one else is doing it. It is really sad that his critics do not see the difficulty in what he has been doing resume wise. But true boxing fans know that Canelo’s resume in the past 5 years has been among the best of his era. I would say the best of the last 5 years.
No shame whatsoever losing to Dmitry Bivol. Miserable fcking boxing fans don’t appreciate it but I certainly do. I wish more boxers took risks like Canelo, had balls like him. I thought Canelo was out of his damn mind, picking Bivol over a green Benavidez or smaller Charlo/Andrade. None of those fighters are at the risk level of Dmitry Bivol
I never said, and you keep putting words in many of our mouthes, that Andrade and Charlo are tougher challenges than Bivol. But I do think they're much more difficult fights than everyone Canelo fought since GGG. There is no shame in losing to Bivol.
There were a lot of idiots calling Bivol a cherry pick and saying he ducked Andrade and Charlo. I never said that. But I do believe Canelo strategically avoided these 2 guys (and jermell charlo at 154) for fights he perceived as easier. How else can you explain going after Liam Smith's belt at 154 but not Andrade's or Charlos? And how come at 168 he suddenly became interested in all the belts once those 3 were out of the picture.
The answer is obvious an any neutral boxing fan has to admit it. I don't give a shit that he fought Trout and Lara back 10 years ago. This is all about how he has carefully picked his opponents since.
Porter is levels beyond the level of any fighter Canelo has ever KOd and that's a complete fact. Gave Thurman, Spence, all the top dogs in their prime the toughest fights of their career, but you canelo fanboys are so stupid you think that doesn't matter because some judge didnt think he did enough to win.
Prime Gamboa, Postol, Diaz, old Kell Brook (look who he whooped the **** out of Khan), are far better opponents than any of these bums canelo fought at 168.
Man for someone with Terence fcking Crawford as his avatar, you talk a ton of sh/t of Canelo Alvarez’s resume. It’s as if you have Sugar Ray Robinson there. You are a fcking Terence Crawford fan. The guy is 34 years old and has like 3 good wins. Canelo had 3 good wins by like age 25.
That dude hid behind Bob Arum for years, now comes out with his cane and grey hair talking about he wants the best. Shawn Porter, Woopdie fcking doo. About damn time.
From the time Crawford fought Postol to the time he fought Porter, his fans got married and had kids and sh/t. Some of saw our kids graduating. This motherfcker took forever and a half to fight a good fighter again.
Canelo’s resume absolutely sh/ts on Crawford’s. That’s why he was unanimously P4P #1 over Crawford by any serious boxing publication. Crawford doesn’t even have a better resume than Usyk or Lomachenko, even with Loma’s losses to Salido and Lopez.

We've never seen Spence or Bud dominated because they're fighting in thier optimal weight class, pretty simple. Let see what happens to both if they were to step up a division or two and fight the likes of Mell,Castano,Mall,GGG,Andrade. I gaurantee you they get dominated as well. Skill can only carry you so far until size becomes a factor.****,PBC was even offering up Spence to Canelo at 164.....you really don't think "P4P" Spence doesnt get dominated lol? Spence gets wrecked dude....why? Because weight classes matter.
Yeah, weight classes matter, matter so much that canelo was going to go up 40lbs and beat Usyk, smdh, casuals
You would be fat.
Canelo was very fit and strong in all his recent fights.
You are dumb. Don't quote me.
Your boyfriend lost to Canelo. Get over it.
Any fool can gain weight.
If I gorge on pizzas for a year and get to 240 pounds am I now as big as Anthony Joshua?
You would be fat.

He never fought and elite fighter. NEVER. He waited for GGG to get old, lost even though he was the much heavier man in that fight, then cherry picked a bunch of C level fighters, including an alcoholic Kovalev, and finally fought an A level fighter Bivol. He got his ass completely whooped from pilar to post. A true p4p fighter would have at least made it competitive, have you ever seen Terence Crawford or Errol Spence get their ass whooped that way? Even Lomachenko came back rallied and won 4-5 rounds against the much bigger Lopez. Canelo is not p4p.
