People saying the southpaw style will trouble PAC - but overlook it's right handers who give him trouble

Pac was hitting him from the left, from the right, straight ahead even from the back. Pac was confused. Pac couldn't figure out a way to miss diaz.

I haven’t seen that being said, but it would be weird for a boxing fan to say that. Only thing I can think of is that Pacquiao isn’t used to fighting southpaws. Pacquiao is highly successful vs right handed boxers. There isn’t much data on Pacquiao vs Southpaws at the top level. David Diaz and Agapito Sanchez. Sanchez gave him issues. David Diaz was beat up pretty badly. Agapito southpaw stance didn't really give pac issues. It was agapito awkwardness and headbutt. Same with horn. awkward and fight dirty and catch pac with headbutts.

when did pac struggle against floyd? floyd struggled against pac is more apt. floyd wasnt even throwing his right hand for most of the fight he was in scared mode and so worried about pacs left. at least guys like marquez and morales were willing to land their own shots and in turn took some good shots. floyd wasnt willing to do that which is why he struggled to land anything cleanly. that was definitely a different type of fight where floyd thought he could win with a lil grazing jab thrown off the back foot while pac landed hard shots. run out the clock floyd the judges got you!

Him that makes this fight strategy interesting. Pac will prob be very cautious and not really go for it and have spence racking up rounds to a decision. He dont really go all out anymore you look at his last two fights. This matchup could end up underwhelming Yeah there is a reason I've been saying even in his prime this would've been a 50-50 fight. The Southpaw angles won't be there for Pac, Spence has a gas tank also just like he does. Not to mention Spence has the superior jab. Pac has the speed and footwork, but Spence is more fundamental and fundamentals are hard to deal with... especially when you don't have the gas tank you used to have.
