Froch-Groves II: I thought he would be a bit more aggressive than he was to take something out of Froch in the later rounds
Canelo-Lara: I thought Lara won 7-5 but I knew Canelo would get it if it was close.
I would have to go with Porter. Probably by KO. It doesnt take a brain surgeon to see Porter is a lot physically stronger than Rios, has a better resume, & a better chin.
I still would prefer to see Bradley/Rios
Not a chance that Porter KO's Rios. Porter isn't a puncher and he was buzzed by Kell.
I really want to see this fight but don't think it happens this year. At the moment I favour Khan until I see Kell show that he can fight effectively coming forward against a good boxer.
how good is brook chin?
i think khan would be easier because he has a weak chin?
He was hurt by Carson Jones and wobbled against Senchenko. But both pose different problems to him, Brook has size and a jab while Khan has movement and a jab.
Any video of Pacquiao being questioned for his pathetic effort? I know Leonard, Marquez, Chavez Sr. and Kevin Kelly brought up how it was his fault the fight didn't live up to the hype but has anyone questioned Pacquiao for his shit effort? It's been bugging me out.
He still thinks he won 7-5 :lol1:
Why Manny Pacquiao Beat Mayweather (Landed Punches Count at 60 FPS). No need for Slowmo.. The truth.
That video is terrible. It counts missed punches and shots that graze off the shoulders and arms.
The Porter hype before Kell schooled him was ridiculous. He scrapped a win against Devon and beat a shot paulie. He was massively flawed technically, Porter isn't Thurman.
It was fun while it lasted but let's not get carried away. It was as significant a win as GGG-Macklin . Kirkland can't keep fighting like this, squared up along the ropes with his chin in the air is just asking to get knocked out.
It's worked for the better part of 5-years. The issue is he doesn't have elite power, nor elite chin, nor anything elite except maybe heart. But the deal is it doesn't matter how he fights because he's not at the elite level for the sport. Never was and never will be. Canelo (being elite) did what he was supposed to do with Kirkland (who is not elite.) He did what alot of other guys who aren't elite could not do. Finish him off. Yes, Ishida was able to finish him but that was a one off. Angulo, Tapia, Molina, etc couldn't finish him and that's what separates Canelo from the B, C level guys.
And by the way, I gave you some green K for the GIF in my sig, thank you as I was looking for that since as soon as the KO happened last night and I couldn't find it on my own.
I didn't mean in terms of effectiveness because despite his flaws a lot of guys can't deal with his strength and power. But in terms of his safety and longevity, he's already slurring his words and he's not gonna last that much longer if he can't defend himself. He doesn't have to reinvent himself but just learn to tuck his chin in and start rolling with punches.
You have to score the fight by round and not by however else a fight is scored. :lol1:
It's hilarious. I expected him to take the L better than this. Imagine if Floyd started making these type of excuses if he had lost
I'm not comparing a good fighter like broner to a glass chinned bum like khan
Khan would beat the **** out of Broner. He struggled against Paulie and Khan does everything better than Paulie does (More power, quicker hands, feet and larger in size)
Estrada looked terrible.Stiff as a robot with no head/upper body movement and his hands/feet were really slow. Mitchell has always been talented but is fragile. If he is fully prepared, focused and sticks to the game plan, he is a tough fight for anyone at 135. Saying that, I think Linares is better than him and would favour him over Kev, though he has a punchers chance.
