On March 7th 2015 We are in for a treat. 2015 Is looking promising already
Adrien Broner is back and ready to make an Impact in 2015. The Can Man is 2-0 since his tragic loss to Marcos Maidana back in 2013. 2014 Showed Promise, and I think in 2015 we are going to see a Broner that we have never seen before. A broner that is determined to become the face of boxing. Molina is going to get embarrassed.
Keith Thurman vs Robert Guerrero is a really interesting fight. 2 Fighters that are highly respected in the sport are going to throw down and give us an action packed fight. Someone is definitely getting stopped in this potential fight of the year candidate for 2015. I got Thurman in this one
Who do you guys have?
I have Broner by UD
and Thurman by KO RD 9.
Maidana is reckless and would walk into shots all night. He's more dangerous than Guerrero but not as tough, I see Thurman stopping him. A smart pressure fighter could maybe give him problems, like a welterweight version of GGG, not Maidana.
Maidana has a much improved and actually really good jab and changes levels behind while closing the distance which would help versus Thurman. Ghost was using no jab, stayed at the same level with zero head movement.
By punishment you mean headbutt. Lol why are you acting like "punishment" is some sort of moral victory. He got his ass beat
Took the words right out of my mouth

This punishment was delt out from a guy was fought as low as 122 at one point against a guy who comes in fight night 160+
Good fight last night. Thurman did a very good job last night. Good hand speed, power, footwork. Still has some things to work on. Personally, I see he loads up on many of his shots, and really telegraphs his punches. Really stiffens up when he throws his punches and kind of pulls his lead hand back before throwing it. He got away with it last night, since Guerrero doesn't have very good defense, not a lot of head movement.
Think Guerrero fought the wrong fight last night, tried to keep it at a distance. Too slow to try and box against Thurman, flat footed and slow hand speed. Guerrero was supposed to press from the first round and fight on the inside, and on the ropes. You take away Thurman's speed and power this way. Had success the last 2-3 rounds, but too late.
Would like to see Thurman against a good pressure fighter, Maidana or Porter. Then against a boxing type, Khan. Two more big fights, and he's ready for Mayweather. Nonetheless, good win for Thurman last night, very good performance.
Liked it all but commentating
Marv seemed lost, SRL was awful, and ali has personality of a rock. BJ was good.
Liked black ropes
Liked acoustics
And last fight got people talking. Both fighters won
Not bad for a first fight
Perhaps Algieri and that's why he didnt take the Crawford fight?
Supposedly he didn't take that fight due to $$$. However, he's in line for a WBO title shot, and would be risking that against Broner. If he fights Broner, he must be really confident in his chances of victory.
Last quarter fight of the year! Guerrero impressed me more than Thurmond, can't help thinking that if the Ghost was a little more adaptive in the ring, had a professional corner....a decent boxing strategist, he would have been told to take the fight inside earlier, and to use his jab coming in instead of trying to time a guy who is punching from from angles and very fast.
Thurmond was humbled albiet he was succesful. Thurmond will have a problem when he fights a guy with a good jab.
If he had taken the fight inside to start, he would have gotten KTFO. That strategy was effective late because Thurman faded, it wouldn't have worked all 12. Guerrero was getting hurt and wobbled a lot early, if he walked blind into shots the way he was late he had no chance to last, let alone win.
Marv Albert is a horrible boxing commentator.
Yeah I agree. He was awful last night. I kept getting the feeling he was waiting for 9 black dudes and a European to appear.
Good fight.

Mares with excuses :(
What happened to this guy he was one of the best fighters but after Gonzalez KO he isn't the same.
One of the best fighters? You mean one of the most overhyped....
Won't be lundy. Probably Soto. He needs to make sure he keeps his weight down.
The plan is for him to fight 4 times this year iirc, so keeping him active should keep his weight down. I think Soto would put up a far better effort than Molina.
