I think most of them will leave this site because they never were boxing fans to begin with. No fan of the art of boxing can like the klitschko brothers.
Troll, troll, troll your boat...
I wouldn't mind footing a portion of the bill for his extensive facial reconstructive surgery. In fact, I'd be glad to.
You ever heard of Carterton? It's next to Witney in Oxfordshire. That's the town my son lives in.
gonna be a good 1
Haye's all blow and no go, in my opinion. Like Wlad said, I'll believe the fight is happening when I see Haye step into the ring on fight night.
I take it you're unaware of a little something we have here called the NHS.
Well, then, the good people of the U.K. (my son among them) will foot the bill for his reconstructive surgery.
That would be a damn good scrap.
Won't happen, though.
Arreola is the perfect matchup for Haye. I just don't think Haye's got the skill or power to match with Arreola.
Now, Have vs Sam Peter on the other hand.....I'd love to see that.
And I don't just want Wlad Via KO, or Haye Via KO.
Give a in depth review.
-How cautious will both fighters come out?
-Do you feel Haye will be able to take Wlad's jab away?
-Which fighter will land the first bomb?
-Who's more likely to gass first?
Etc
Etc

Some facts to consider:
- All of Haye's KOs have come over people that have been KOed before (except Fragomeni)
- Every single Haye opponent has been older than himself, all except Maccarinelli SIGNIFICANTLY older
- Haye's 4 HW opponents since moving up have been age 37, 36, 38 and 39.
- At least 15 of Wlad's KOs have come over people that had NEVER been KOed before (Brock, Shufford, Brewster, Shultz) many of those (Chagaev, Thompson, Chambers, etc) had never even been down before
- Wlad has fought EVERYBODY since 1998, all sizes and all ages, no cherry-picking.
- Wlad's past 3 opponents have all been YOUNGER than himself (Chagaev 30, Chambers 27 and Peter 30).
Those are fantastic points, Freedom. I wish I'd had the forethought to put those up in the vid!
If you compare the resumes of the two guys it seems like a mismatch... wlad has dominated and ko d much better and harder hitting opponents than haye has faced.... and i like haye but what hes saying about wlad has only beat bums is ridiculous and to anyone who follows heavyweight boxing its making him look real stupid
You're absolutely right. Anyone who's a fan of the HW division can see that Haye's attempts to hype the fight and get under Wlad's skin is having the opposite effect. I think it just makes him look even more unnerved and less confident.
That is just making too much out of nothing.
A guy acting like a "proper dickhead" (to use Haye's own words) is not nothing. It's just an indication of what we all already knew about him. He's an as shole.
Has no one been following the pre-hype for Haye-Wladimir?
What's that got to do with making someone do pushups for a signature? We already know he's a tool.
But due to them being slavic the US will not credit the Klitsckos regardless.Sure he will be uynifying if he wins but it will still be rubbished by the US media while they go back to their ****ty sports for thugs.
Oh for fuc ks sake..
In this case, the operative phrase is "pound for pound" and I dont care who you find, there's no heavy out there with the kind of pop that can match some of the littler guys.
I know he's regarded as a clown, but you cant deny that Prince Naseem, for his weight, had about the hardest punches you've ever seen.
Aside from that, if we're looking at currently active fighters, we have to go with either Jorge Arce, Ricardo Mayorga (that's right, I said it), or, of course, Manny Pacqiaou
Even if you pretend the Sam Peter KDs dont count for whatever reason since you think theyre behind the head, hes been down 9 times.
come on now.
I'd never seen the Pannel fight. Didn't realize Wlad went down. No excuses for that one. Pannel caught him. It was a nice shot. In Wlad's defense, he was right back up and paid Panell (Pannel?) right back with a kd of his own.
I saw the Williamson fight. I think it was 2 fights after Brewster and I remember that flash kd very clearly. It was a flash kd, where Williamson caught Wlad flush while Wlad was off balance. Again, nothing to do with being weak-chinned. Just being off balance. But props for Williamson for landing it and getting the kd. It was definitely a legit KD.
I dunno, maybe you guys have a different definition of "weak-chinned" than I do. When I think of someone being weak chinned, I think of someone who goes down with the slightest shot and doesn't get back up. Every time Wlad has gone down, he's always gotten right back up to fight on.
you are aware Wladmir has gone down at least 11 times, correct?
I am aware that fighters have been credited with kds against Wlad. There's a huge difference with being credited with a kd and actually being knocked down, and if you're a true boxing fan, you should know that.
Did you even read my first post?
Are you SERIOUSLY going to try and tell me that every other fighter would have had any other reaction to this shot than being KTFO?
I beg to differ. ANY fighter hit with that left would have been destroyed. Except for Vitali, who somehow was able to withstand it.
You're reaching, bro.
Hasim Rahman?
I've seen a few clips of Sanders' fight with Rahman, and from what I saw, Rock's defense was good enough and he was evasive enough that Sanders wasn't really able to land the money shot on him.
guys, hes been hurt and down by punches that many fighters wouldnt have been shaken by at all. Im not saying that Wladimir is god awful or that he will get knocked out by any decent punch that hits him, buts its obvious that when you fight him your strategy is either to drain his stamina or tap his chin.
his chin is not the worst, but its obvious its a weakness.
Really? Examples?
