It all depends on how the fight pans out. IF Haye stuns Wlad and has him in trouble early in the fight, then we could see a dramatic battle unfold where Wlad is finally given a lot of credit if he then recovers and outboxes Haye. IF Wlad simply outscores Haye every round in a cautious fight (or knocks Haye out), then yes, people will probably complain that Haye was all hype. Wlad still has some more interesting fights after this including Helenius, Povetkin, plus a handful of young prospects from UK, US, and various places in Europe just around the corner. But I agree that there are no HW stars right now to really challenge Wlad or improve his resume very much.

I strongly disagree. I like both Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye as fighters. The fact of the matter is that both are credible foes. Both have quality resumes and both bring something to the table. Some might say that Haye talked himself into the fight. However, that has it's advantages for all involved. If Wladimir Klitschko manages to win, then it proves to casual fans that he beat the biggest mouth in the division. He looks like someone willing to face all comers. He'll have also brought together virtually every championship. It's win-lose in it's purist form. If he loses, it means everything. Everything depends on the fashion in which this fight goes down. But, if he manages to stop Haye and erase any doubt, then he's probably more popular than he is now in America and even more popular in boxing in general.

I think he would get praised if he KO Haye in devastating fashion, Haye really has talked up this fight, He has brought so much hype to the fight so yes i think Wlad would get credited for this win, Haye looks like a genuine contender so i expect whoever wins to add to their legacy through this fight.
