Canelo weighs as much or more than GGG. You could say he doesn't really belong at LMW since he doesn't make the weight anymore. Pac man was rehydrating to the high 140s at 130 pounds, but he still wasn't a welterweight yet. Big difference between water weight and weight more made up of muscle. Canelo should be fighting at a honest 154, but I'm sure he can still make it being only a half pound over tonight.

Your pretty much right. However tall he is, he knows he'd be much smaller against real 160 pounders. It would more or less be the end of his career probably, so I don't really hold his ducking against GGG against him. But if he is not going to fight 160 pounders, he at least needs to fight legit top 10 154 pounders at 155. And if he does that, he's alright with me.

IF it does happen... I'd hope McGregor would smart enough to ask for MMA gloves, and maybe kickboxing rules. If not, it would just be a shameless, no hope money grab that I hope will tank.

No. If you can actually discard the agendas and biases that most people have, one can clearly see that Canelo's size is more in line with average 154 pounders than 160 pounders. Even throwing GGG aside, how many top 10 middleweights would Canelo even beat? Not many IMO, and even then just barely. But that's just being truthful.

When Canelo can't fight 154 pounders at 155 anymore... his career will be over. Oscars knows. Everyone with a brain knows it too. He won't hack it at 160 against 160 pounders, he's too small and weak for that. And that's not even including GGG, who'd beat him bad. But eh.

No fool. His height is short for 160. But he's heavy built for 154. Look at cotto vs. Canelo. Canelo was way bulkier. Cotto is about 154 built right now. Your a fool if you think Cotto is an average 154 pounder. Compare Canelo to the Charlo brothers. Or Angulo. Or Lara. Or Martirosyan. Or Trout. Or Kirkland. He's about their size. This idea that just because you rehydrate to 170 you are a middleweight is ridiculous. Because those other guys do it too. Clottey was rumored to had jumped to 170 against Judah, but that still wouldn't of made him "As big" as GGG or other real middleweights.

I'll actually pick him. Decent power, very relaxed, puts punches together with good upper body movement defensively, and he doesn't seem small at the weight either.

Another impossible fantasy fight. No one knows how a mid 30's GGG would be like dropping an entire weight class. Floyd's too big too safely drop to 140 (See the Marquez fight), so maybe GGG is too big to drop down to 154 safely too.
