If anybody thinks JMM is just going to lay down and not make a hell of a fight out of this,well,they are just fooling themselves.I mean the guy is one of the smartest fighters in the sport,if not the smartest. IMO he will figure out how to fight Floyd and give us all a great fight and hopefully for me, win it.
If this fight goes to the cards I gaurantee Mayweather wins due to the high demand for Pacman vs Mayweather. I seriously question some of these judges nowadays. And I'm not saying there isn't a demand for Pac vs Marquez 3 either and to be honest I'd rather see the 3rd installment. Go Marquez

Anyone who calls Cotto a quitter should be thrown in the ring with plasterfists, beaten on for eleven rounds and then asked if they think Miguel Cotto is a quitter. I don't think anyone here would have lasted as long as Cotto did,nor would have a lot of other fighters. I want Floyd-Mosley and Cotto-Pac, then the winners. Call me crazy but if it does go this way I think we will end up with Mosley-Cotto 2. Which will be big but not as big as Floyd-Pac.
Yep, If Shane and Pac meet up, the Pac-man will lose. Pacs power would mean nothing against Mosley. He would take every shot, smile and then unload himself, eventually knocking Pac out. IMO,it's gauranteed
Cotto-Mayweather for me. Not as big a PPV as Pac-Mayweather but thats the match I want to see most. If Pac was a full time welter than maybe Pac-May gets my vote

Boxingfan has got a point here with them having insufficient evidence BUT, the CSAC is not a court of law and we are not talking about him facing criminal charges in a penalty with the law,this is about wether or not the CSAC will ever reinstate him to boxing or not(and I hope they don't). The evidence you speak of does not have as much bearing here as it would in a court with the judge,jury and the whole nine. The CSAC will handle things their way,the judge and jury have no say in this one.It is all up to the commission and what they think. The judge and jury will have their say when and if they decide to charge him with criminal offenses.
I've been thinking about Clottey's shell defense and it reminded me that Branco tried that same tactic with Cotto. Miguel will be more than happy to destroy those arms and shoulders, so the question also stands of how long can Clottey's arms hold up? As the fight gets closer, I am beginning to sense that Cotto may be the first to stop Clottey like he has done to other fighters that have never been stopped.
That would be nice but Clottey is one tough SOB. Cotto by UD and then on his way back to Mosley. Mark my words that rematch is going to happen. Manny and Floyd are going to be tied up (hopefully), Shane is just waiting around and that fight just makes too much sense. Although that is a gauranteed good fight I'd rather see a Manny vs Cotto fight or Cotto/Floyd. Whatever way it goes.it's all good stuff.

i've picked him in every fight except for the marg fight but right after i picked cotto to win the rematch with a different style.
If Cotto goes back to fighting like he usually does which of course is pressuring and just plain beating the fight out of his opponents then I'd pick him to beat all these guys. Since the Mosley fight Miguel has been using more of a boxing style and has been doing a lot of backing up. Although he is skilled in the boxing aspect, I think he was much more effective as a pressure fighter. But hey, he still is my favorite fighter.

Any boxer that's been retired for 1-1/2 year should not be considered the best p4p just for wining 1 fight unless he actually beats the p4p best. Especially if the current p4p beat the last 2 fighters that Floyd faced and beat them more convincingly than what Floyd did.
