I would like Paul to beat the hell out of that bar brawling skinhead. While this is the case I realize that Paul would win the majority of the rounds due to his work rate, but what I am concerned about is if he can take the punch of a big punching MW. Pavlik is no slouch and averages 80 punches a round him damn self. However, Paul is a lot faster, and is more active and has a wider arsenal, but Paul gets hit, and gets hit flush. He has been hit a lot in all of his big fights, but he has had a good enough chin to take everybodys shots, but can he really afford to take the shots of Pavlik? I for one do not think so. My prediction goes one of two ways.
Paul just out works and outhusstles pavlik, possibly gets knocked down, but wins a close but clear decision.
Or
Paul ahead on all the cards gets worn down late (this isn't Margarito we are talking about here Pavlik is bigger and hits a lot harder) and gets stopped at around the 10th or 11th from an accumilation of punches.
It will either be Paul by clear UD or Pavlik by come from behind TKO.
Hopefully Williams beats Pavlik out of the MW division.
IMO he is a full JMW.
He weighted 165 against Winky, he is no small 154lber!!!!
He weighed 168 against Margarito, and 152 against Quintana the second time. Williams weight is all over the place. He is a odd built guy.
I hope Williams, but this time he aint the bigger guy, and his punch output will be matched.
Williams maybe a bit faster than pavlik, but Pavlik have a good jab and a nasty right hand.
I see Pavlik stoping Williams mid to late rounds!!!!!!!
Williams deserves mad props for fighting pavlik. IMO this is a suicide mission. Williams IMO is a small 154lber.
pavlik can give paul some problems and hes capable of hurting paul. this will be a good fight but since it will be at 160 i think pavlik will win this fight..
Williams will beat Pavlik, but he is still a normal-sized welterweight and is in no way or manner capable of throwing an uppercut from under his other arm with his normal welterweight reach.

nice breakdown of the this potential fight street..... i for some reason see it going the second way, even though paul could easily outwork pavlik, i see pavlik just catching williams late in the fight and really hurting williams... with the ref jumping in,... but i wont sleep on williams, he's proven us wrong soooo many times, i'm excited about this fight :boxing:
panda thinks the ghost beats the punisher by UD or late KO
williams aint ever faced no puncher like pavlik aside from that pavliks slightly taller and almost matches his workrate
williams got the reach and speed but he aint got the hopkins experience/smarts
williams aint nullifying that right hand like bhop did
panda aint hatin on williams but pavlik aint old or inactive like his last two opponents ya hear
