actually rahman caught lewis with a punch and kod him i would say schooling someone for 12 rounds is harder to do than landing one hard punch and koing your oponent Lewis would have lost anyway, he was running out of gas before he got caught. He just had an off night, because he didn't take Rahman seriously enough - same as Williams in the first fight with Quintana, same as Duran against Laing, same as Ray Robinson vs. Turpin.

no its because all the guys on his hit list are bigger draws than williams and you kno that Williams is a much bigger draw than he was, now that he's beaten Wright; and Mosley isn't exactly a huge draw on his own either. Even before he beat Wright, Williams was a bigger draw than Mosley, based on the fact that Marg could have made nearly twice what he made against Mosley if he'd fought Williams instead. And Mosley IS on Mayweather's "hit list".

regarding williams-quitana......quitana clearly outboxed him and his style of moving and hooking gave williams real trouble.....williams would be the favorite against mayweather but it isnt impossible for mayweather to do the same.....as far as the rematch quitana stood in front of him, it takes a perfect fight to beat williams..... That's fair, but Williams isn't on Mayweather's so-called "hit list", so he doesn't seem to have much confidence that he can win.

Everyone who has eyes knows Williams had an off-night in the first fight, but he destroyed Quintana conclusively in the rematch, end of story. And Quintana hasn't fought anyone since he got iced by Williams, except one pathetic journeyman who is ranked 293 at his weight by boxrec, and who even Jennings would beat easily, so he isn't even in the picture any more.

Williams walks around at just over 150, which is lighter than most Welterweights do; he was fighting at 147 less than a year ago; and has been trying to make fights at 147 ever since, including as recently as last week; so your analogy is more than ridiculous.

Rahman made Lewis look like a fool in their first fight but was destroyed in their rematch. No one claimed after that rematch that Rahman was better than Lewis. Why the double standards in the case of Williams, who destroyed Quintana even more conclusively in their rematch than Lewis destroyed Rahman? I bet when he starts fighting the top dogs, he will lose a lot of fights. The top dogs at Welter won't fight him. Marg was offered $4 million to fight him this year but chose to fight Mosley for $2.3 million instead. He tried to make a fight with Mosley after the Marg fight and Mosley said he didn't want to fight him "because he is too tall". Williams is being overhype to be something he aint!!!!!!!!! Williams would not beat Mayweather. Williams workrate means nothing if you give him some lateral movement and counter him coming in. Mayweather is the best in the sport at it. I'm still not convinced that Williams can handle a fighter who uses lateral movement and counters him coming in, Quintana was able to do it, in the rematch Williams didn't show much improvement for me to consider that he can handles guys who move well because it only lasted a round.

Mosley, and Cotto have the best chance. I think Williams would cause Floyd problems, but I think Floyd would find a way to win.

Alot of plp forget that Floyd used to fight at a 126 an went all the way up to 154lbs to fight the DLH so i dnt think his picking on JMM or pacman if they get to fight.But dnt get me wrong Jmm has never fought pass 135lbs so its kind of unfair but its not so in my books its a fair fight Jmm its a great boxer an should give Floyd a hell of a fight or pacman!!!!!!
