Hi all. Just seeing if anyone has created a round by round thread of the fights tonight for anyone without PPV. I can throw my two cents in as I'll be ordering the fight tonight. Turn on CNN. 5 - 10" of water pouring in per minute. Somewhere in the western part of Ward 9. They're saying the levee is absolutely broken, no question about it. Some barge was hitting the levee since the winds were kicking up from Rita. Nothing is stopping the water in NO, again. Saying the whole city could flood again by Noon time.

:feedback: Every once in a while I find myself completely disagreeing with a ref. We've all been there. There are always times when they don't count a knockdown or show something we'd rather not see. Sometimes it seems that a ref may be turning a blind eye and sometimes it's just blatant favoritism. Who do you feel has consistently performed poorly as a ref? If the Ref were a horse you'd have to put em down. That kind of poor refereeing. Remember now, consistently showing poor performance as a Referee. Not just one bad night but repeatedly demonstrating incompetence.

I haven't seen many new faces as of late. Anyone hear any buzz on some younger fighters? Any weight class, i doesn't matter. Peace.

We all know the greatness that Mosley once demonstrated. Where the hell did that go? Should he drop weight and perhaps we'll be seeing him kick ass once again? I have to tell you all; that was one boring ass fight. It really was. I like Sugar Shane even though I still don't understand why he won't use his damn jab enough. It's there for you, you can use it to set up combos and stuff. He just rocks back and forth, setting up, setting up...nope, don't need this here great jab of mine...I'll just hang here, where I can easily hit this guy right now with a variety of punches but for whatever reason I'm not going to do that....and no, I'm not going to jab. Maybe I can knock him out with this punch. *Blam!!* Nope, didn't work that time either. Let me set up again, here we go, setting up, setting up. Does anyone know why he insists on doing that? Does anyone know why he thinks he can drop guys with one shot when they've been taking his best punches all night and walk through em? Anyone, anyone at all? Shane if you're out there...give a shout. Jab killa, combos. You can do it! Peace.

:mad: This is the last thing I wanted to hear. I would love to see a strong 3rd fight between these two but now even if the fight goes on Roy will be able to fall back on this "unknown" injury as a crutch and use it to explain another loss if Tarver takes the 3rd fight. This is apparently a sparring accident but I do not know any details about this injury. Does anyone have a clue as to the seriousness of this injury? Will they reschedule or even worse, cancel the fight? I hope they go on as scheduled but I would rather wait another couple of months for a healthy Roy Jones to do his best work against Tarver. I'm rooting for Tarver. It would be great to see another KO of Roy, only so that we can close the book on his carreer and pass the torch along to the next. If Roy wins, good for him but I believe he should still retire permanently.
