they showed the fight in uk - mosely really looked lacking in confidence. seemed afreaid to throw combintations (maybe cos of the other dudes right hand). He didnt seem fuild at all....very rigid saying that - u can definitely still see the flashes of brilliance....whether he can put it all together still is another thing. Honestly i wud put him in against a 3rd rate fighter and let mosley have his way agiasnt him to build up confidence and combination boxing in the ring.

We all know the greatness that Mosley once demonstrated. Where the hell did that go? Should he drop weight and perhaps we'll be seeing him kick ass once again? I have to tell you all; that was one boring ass fight. It really was. I like Sugar Shane even though I still don't understand why he won't use his damn jab enough. It's there for you, you can use it to set up combos and stuff. He just rocks back and forth, setting up, setting up...nope, don't need this here great jab of mine...I'll just hang here, where I can easily hit this guy right now with a variety of punches but for whatever reason I'm not going to do that....and no, I'm not going to jab. Shane Mosley is a SHOT fighter and has been for a long time. I went into the Mosely/Delahoya fight cheering for Mosely and found it hard to watch the last couple rounds. The only people more shocked at the crazy decision than me was his corner and Shane himself. But gift decision or not he was not the same fighter then that he was just a year earlier and he has only looked worse each fight since. Its not the weight its not the style of his opposition it is him. He will never beat a top teir skilled fighter again and it is a sad thing to watch when he was soooo good just a few years ago and somehow lost "it" without ever taking a beating. Maybe it was the roids, but I hope not. Sometimes when I watch Shane fight he seems to have a wire crossed. Like he needs to reboot. Do you notice how he jumps slightly when hit at times, like he's skittish. He's almost become awkward. He was being talked up during he PPV match, by the announcers as being a very driven and confident fighter. I tend to question his confidence but not his drive. Shane does not fight confidently in my opinion. Mayweather on the other hand is at the top of his game and knows it. When I think of confidence if think of him, not Mosley. Mayweather will expose overmatched opponents weakness and finish him. Mosley had that opportunity against Cruz who was not a comparable fighter and could not do so. There is no question that Floyd would completely dominate and humiliate Mosley if they fight now. I agree about Shane not beating top teir competition at this stage of his career. There is something wrong with Shane and it's apparent every time he fights and it's been ongoing.

Downloads of Margarito? I think that Mosley could get Judah's belts but he should avoid Margarito. Mosley has better skills than Margarito but size matters in this case. Margarito is a machine that would be all over Mosley and the bad thing is that he would keep throwing 100 punches a round until the end. Anyone know where I can download Margarito fights. He seemed to wait on Cruz all night so he could just counter and Mosley can be a damn good counter boxer. He used it well against ODLH but it never came to be of any use against Cruz.

I see that as well i have made an observation about , mosely , delahoya ,and trindad . it seems to me when all of them moved up in weight they lost their balance and speed . it seems to me that oscar and felix were lightweights they moved around the ring like panthers , now they seem stiff . with trindad i was surprised that after the hopkins fight he was finished forever . i have seen this a few times before where a fighter takes such a bad beating they are never the same again . any intelligent comments on that. You're right on that. I think Mosley was most affected by gaining weight, it reflects poorly on him more than on ODLH or Trinidad. Mosley must do something and do it by his next fight. He's losing ground and it doesn't look like he'll be able to sell event like he used too if he continues to have lack luster performances.

Mosley's opponent was slow, tall, aand had amateur ability at best Mosley is used to fighting world class athletes, you could see that even Shane had to slow down his own attack in order to blend with Cruz' speed or lackthereof it was basically like watching a break-dancer battle with a synchronized swimmer

the reason his performance was lackluster? he's an "old soldier" , simple as that.. he'll never look as good as he did vs DLH, which was the look of a just below current mayweather caliber phenom

Sugar Shane Mosley should be KOing this guys left and right. He said it himself that he hits hard as hell with those 8 oz. gloves. I guess he doesn't hit as hard as he thinks he does.
