Denis Boytsov as a heavyweight. His punching power is unprecedented but he needs to gain more weight. He is only 19 and will be fighting on the Brewster undercard in Germany probably against a scrub.

Lucian Bute, super-middle, from Romania and fighting out of Canada. Scored another impressive TKO victory over Kabery Salem over the weekend. Could be in line for a title shot soon. Also keep an eye out on Kingsley Ikeke. Word is he might be fighting Winky in Dec. Probably a longshot to win but this is his chance.

Jaidon Codrington - Super Middleweight is highly respected by many posters here. Although he will lose his next fight against Alan Green. I was surprised when I saw this fight had been made. Both are pretty well hyped prospects and both are still learning (haven't seen Codrington fight, but I know he only has around 9 fights). To me, Green looked really good in his earlier fights, but now I think he's too open and doesn't have the same speed or sharpness I thought I saw right at the beginning of his career. It's an interesting one anyway. And the best prospect is Amir Khan, if he's handled right, he'll go very far indeed

John Duddy: John has developed a keen ability to throw to the body. Very reminisent of Irish Mickey Ward. If he can improve upon his defense he will be a very good fighter. Lamont Peterson: Lamont is clearly the better boxer out of the duo of him and his brother. He does not possess the knockout power that many would like to see but a great boxer none the less. He is very reminisent of Winky Wright. Anthony Peterson: Anthony is a mix between a brawler and a boxer. He has very fast hands, quick footwork, and plenty of heart. Personally i feel that he will make a lot of money in this business. Him and his brother were homeless from the time they were 3. They walked all night every night in search of food, clothing, and shelter. They have been through hell and back. So win it comes to heart they have plenty of it. Not to mention they have lived in Kronks Gym since they were 11. He often switches for no apparent reason. If he is controlling the fight in the southpaw position, there is no reason to turn. Andre Ward: There is no reason Ward can't be the new face of boxing. None. He is young (21), humble, devout, respectful and very good with his fast (though sub-thundering) fists. From King's Gym, he launched an amateur career that culminated with his gold medal performance in last summer's Olympics. He is off to a fast start as a pro -- 5-0. Ward is a middleweight, a class which boasts a roll call of champions that includes Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Duran, Carlos Monzon, Emile Griffith, Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake LaMotta, Tony Zale. Will he be there someday. We can only wait and see...

Most of his fights were within a quick train ride of me. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully i'll catch his match against Green. I don't recall ever seeing him fight.
