Crazy how only great fighters get this thrown at them. No one ever talks about what Zab did to Floyd cause he lost.Cotto hit him low once, the other times he just lied, they werent low. Unless Zabs balls hang from his legs or him stomach.
lmao , he actualy hit him 3 times, i'm sure atleast 2 of them were intentional.
I dont think it's an issue.
You could be right, i mean out of 32 fights, he only did low blow in two fights,
but you have to also look at the fact that he was in TROUBLE by both of them, and its the only fights that shook em.
I mean its not like Hopkins constant headbutts, even tho he was good at sneaking it in.
then you are fuckin cray!!! Cotto WILL low blow ALOT. Try to take Margs legs away, so that Margs loses that extra umph! in his punches. But Margs will TKO him late. I expect to see Cotto crying like a bitch when Margs retaliates with his own low blows. I bet Cotto starts bitching and complaining to the ref. The ref wont tell Cotto shit, but will be on Margs ass for it. I know it. But o well, Margs has gone through too much to let this fight get past him. Margs 11th round standing TKO. Cotto will be 32- 1.
Ya margarito doesnt give a shit, he's come this far. He wont back down, and he loves to fucking trade, he wont back down. I expect Cotto to do the same.
That pissed me off when Cotto hit Zab with the blatant low blow. It was clearly blatant. With this said, I can't think of another instance where Cotto used a low blow to get out of trouble..
he used low blows against Ricardo torres, the only fighter that knocked him down
i think chop chop corley received one low or two low blows, but it wasnt called.
not sure though.
That's bullshit. TiTo beated up Vargas badly, no excuses. About Cotto and Judah, Zab did have TIME TO RECOVER and did not show signs of been affected by the lowblows. he did showed signs of been rusty and surprised by the beating he took and did not expect to get. Dou you remeber all the shit Zab said on HBO during the pre-fight documentary??? He took his own words and shoved down his throat, shitted them and then shoved them back on his ass.
thats true he did have time to RECOVER but he didn't FULLY RECOVER, he said fuck it and went on with the fight.
If you were in Judahs shoes, would u jus stand their for 5 minutes, makign the audience boo you?
I mean including the fact of the tension, hype and adrenaline rush, i doubt you'd wanna stick around for 5 minutes to wait for your charlie browns to recover.
man of course
winky wright
hearns
Trinidad?
lol.
Unfortunatly i've never seen any Holmes fights, mainly because i was born when his career took a peek, i will watch Larry Holmes fights, and see how good his jab is, according to this post, most of you praise Holmes jab, so i'll believe you.
i RE WATCHED IT with the sound off and had SSM winning, I originall y had Dela.
Dela threw pitty patter shots.SSM's were the bigger shots.. with no sound and the crowd ooohing ang awwwing and with out HBO riding Dela's junk.. it was clear that SSM won the fight. I recommend everyone else doing the same..
I think thats why those closest to ring side had SSM winning..
i didntt try it with the sound off, but watch de la hoya's jabs thats what made him win.
good post
anyway do you know duk koo kim??
no i personally do not know Duk Koo kim, but i found out about his death after mancini, but i have also seen a lot of his tapes that have never been televised.
I've also read a biography (quite rare) and i also watched a movie on him.
I just think Duk Koo Kims death greatly impacted and protected young fighters to cut fights to 12 rounds, i mean look at most of the fighters now who foguht 15 rounds before? Still quite tragic.
gatti by wide UD
Now i'm not sure how strong Gatti's body is compared to his chin. Miguel is a good body puncher. (Not so sure after the Clotey performance).
But i'd say a prime Gatti (B Class Fighter) would still go down by K.O i'd predict around the 9-12 round.
Yet Gatti's prime was back in his young 20 against fighters such as Ivan Robinson, Jesse James Leija,Tracy Harris Patterson, and other respectable B class fighters.
But note that Cotto near the age of Gatti wasn't as good as a boxer that he is today, proof such as Demarcus Corley and Ricardo Torres.
If u put Gatti out of prime and Miguel Cotto = Cotto by KO
Gatti in Prime vs Miguel Cotto = Cotto by late KO
Gatti in Prime was Young Cotto (same prime age as cotto 18-25) = Gatti by SP, UD, or Cotto by UD, SP or late KO.
i think his weakness would be against
technically sound, sufficient volume punchers, such as JMM.
Again, Styles make fights, every single fighter out there, no matter how great, always has a weakness to different styles. Its the heart, intelligence and certain amount of skill that you need to succeed a win, and Pacman has the whole package. Yet it's going to come to a certain date when he finally approaches a style that he will face difficulty with, maybe a trilogy match with JMM could set the record, or even Cotto, maybe Mayweather? I don't know i can't say, but as far as i can "guess" it is against styles that are more technical and sufficient with their punches.
I liked Fight Night Round 3 the best!
for me using the right analog stick for FN4 is pretty hard getting used to, but overall i think the game is good, althoug the lateral movement of every single boxer is too slow.
you ask this question every ****ing day.

seriously, i searched threw your thread history and i laughed my ass off.
Ya whats up with that, I've noticed this a lot..
Do you feel uncomfortable, that u started late also? Or are you just sitting there, thinking of taking boxing and becoming a champ because of these other boxers that started late?
i don't think he would'a been brain dead, i mean if he was "raised" in the 20's-50's, he'd be raised like a stallion, i mean all the club fighters were much more powerful "blow by blow" wise, which mostly was because of the way they lived, like blacksmithing? that job doesnt even exist anymore.
no he lacks technically thats why i tink it bests suits him to be there with the rest.
what i don't understand s, ho could gati go brain dead? most boxers that boxerd in the 1920,1930,1940 came out fine. I guess if Gatti was "raised" like a bull in the 1920's cause the atmsphere there is totally diffferent he could do better
