Miguel Cotto and his low blows

i cant wait till miguel cotto fights antonio margarito! both guys are great, and miguel has gotten better every single fight, no one can stop him. antonio margarito a non-stop punching machine, probably his toughest opponent yet. what i realised about miguel cotto, is against ricardo torres (the only guy that knocked down miguel cotto) is that he gave him two low blows, because he was being connected with so many right hands, it troubled him from the 1st to 3rd round. I doubt torres would've survived up to the 10th round, regardless of the low blows. Against Judah, he low blowed him twice, maybe even three times, why? intentional or not, he was being rocked by judah, in the first 4 rounds, yet again, miguel cotto won the fight, but did it slow down judah? Could've Judah pulled a UD/SP decision? Either way, Judah lost his confidence after the 6th, and you could tell, it was one-sided by then. He's gona fight margarito in about 2 weeks, and margarito likes to fight toe-to-toe, non-stop brawling. Not to mention TORRES AND JUDAH both fought TOE-TO-TOE against Cotto. BOTH were SIMILAR STYLES, and Margaritos will probably be more punishing, not to mention he has power in both his hands. Will Cotto use his low blows against Margarito's if he's ever going to be rocked by Antonio's left hooks or right leads? We'll see what happens. If Cotto even tries to punch him below the belt, i will clearly use this against Margarito's potential victory! i reckon this

then you are fuckin cray!!! Cotto WILL low blow ALOT. Try to take Margs legs away, so that Margs loses that extra umph! in his punches. But Margs will TKO him late. I expect to see Cotto crying like a bitch when Margs retaliates with his own low blows. I bet Cotto starts bitching and complaining to the ref. The ref wont tell Cotto shit, but will be on Margs ass for it. I know it. But o well, Margs has gone through too much to let this fight get past him. Margs 11th round standing TKO. Cotto will be 32- 1. Ya margarito doesnt give a shit, he's come this far. He wont back down, and he loves to fucking trade, he wont back down. I expect Cotto to do the same.

I dont think it's an issue. You could be right, i mean out of 32 fights, he only did low blow in two fights, but you have to also look at the fact that he was in TROUBLE by both of them, and its the only fights that shook em. I mean its not like Hopkins constant headbutts, even tho he was good at sneaking it in.

Cotto has given some intentional low blows in my estimation. He has said before he will do anything to win so I wouldn't be surprised if there were low blows in this fight. It is a part of the game and the ref needs to be aware of this and deduct accordingly. It isn't something that is new to boxing. One my favorite boxers(Duran) was one dirty mofo when it came to fighting and would sneak in some low blows when the opportunity presents itself.

Crazy how only great fighters get this thrown at them. No one ever talks about what Zab did to Floyd cause he lost.Cotto hit him low once,the other times he just lied,they werent low. Unless Zabs balls hang from his legs or him stomach. lmao , he actualy hit him 3 times, i'm sure atleast 2 of them were intentional.

Low blows are dangerous and takes alot out of you, If any of you box then you would know that..Whether Cotto does it intentional or not he would have a clear advantage going down the stretch in a world title fight. Cotto is a good fighter and he doesnt need to resort to those tactics- Because when Cotto is desperate then he does Low blow is opponents.

Looking back at the fight it does look like they may have been intentional.. I don't know though. Against Chop Chop Corley he hit him straight on the belt line and Corley's trunks were high so that wasn't a low blow. When you go to the body so often you gotta understand though that this is bound to happen.. One or two punches are bound to stray.. Just like you are not gonna hit your target everytime when you aim for someone's head, your not gonna hit your target everytime when you bang someone's body. this is correct. if you are a fighter you would know this.

That's bullshit. TiTo beated up Vargas badly, no excuses. About Cotto and Judah, Zab did have TIME TO RECOVER and did not show signs of been affected by the lowblows. he did showed signs of been rusty and surprised by the beating he took and did not expect to get. Dou you remeber all the shit Zab said on HBO during the pre-fight documentary??? He took his own words and shoved down his throat, shitted them and then shoved them back on his ass. That's bullshit.
