#1 Valuev is big and slow and doesnt move well, only guys to ever give Holy trouble are those that refuse to stand in front of him.
#2 Holy is literally fighting for his life, a win her buys him a few more years on easy street, a loss brings him that much closer to the poor house, that has to motivate him. This win could lead to another big pay day which may finally allow him to retire
#3 There is a reason they call it gambling, but this is a live underdog if I have ever seen one.
Ouch, what a ripoff. Everything that is sad and wrong with boxing all rolled into on BS decision, I would say this would further discredit the sport in the US but no one really watches anymore anyway due to BS like this.....
Joe Calzaghe is the best fighter in the history of boxing, he has no equal. There is no one in the history of the sport that could beat him.
He still proved himself to be lacking in class and dignity (isnt that supposed to be what your country is about??)
What do my comments have to do with Roy Jones actions in the ring at all?
I said that Calzaghe was a classless piece of garbage, I never made any claims about Roy Jones level of class or lack there of, I am making a comment about Calzaghe, if you think Jones is guilty of the same thing, fine.
So you are justifying the actions because "Roy did it", so was Calzaghe defending all of the overmatched opponents that Roy toyed with? Highly doubtful, his dominance in the fight simply brought out his true character. Champions respect other champions, this was not respect, it was trailer trash BS at its best.
Again, you should all be proud not only of the class your guy showed, but also of the brave way he was able girl punch his way to victory. Is slapping even legal?
are you silly.
you dont ever rite the date like that!!!!!!!
its 12/03/2006
day / month / year
Um lets see, how do I approach this without making you look stupid?
I AM AN AMERICAN, THAT IS HOW WE WRITE THE DATE!!!!
I appreciate your board and your opinions, we will see if / when the fight ever comes off. As for the date, cant help what I have been taught on these shores :) ....
1. Jones doesnt have to hurt him, simply outbox him.
2. Jones has way too much experience to let a hostile crowd bother him (crowd wont be so bad after a few rounds if Jones is up on the cards anyway).
Think with your brain and not your heart, believe me Calzaghe is tailor made for Jones, it will be an easy 12 round lopsided decision.
