Calzaghe is better than any American fighter there is at the moment. I remember the poll that asked who was the best US fighter right now, and Pavlik was a resounding winner. Hopkins schooled Pavlik. That makes Hopkins the best American fighter right now. Joe beat Hopkins. That makes Joe better than any American fighter. Cut out the sour grapes, and give the man his due. calzaghe barely beat hopkins... it wasn't even a clean victory so that doesn't make him better than hopkins. there's still dawson out there. and I wonder what glen johnson's chances who has the activity to hang w/ calzaghe.
