I think he is being lined up for a Mayweather unification bout. Only thing that really makes sense. Garcia and Khan are both out, it isn't Maidana again (Floyd rarely does rematches and Maidana's camp hasn't heard from him yet), so only logical option that is available on the date is Porter, who happens to hold the only other welterweight belt that Mayweather doesn't have.
Is Lara serious? There is being on your bike, then there is bringing an aston martin into the ring and driving it around. Lara was literally sprinting away the entire fight.
lol, typical dumbass... GBP is in Disarray and they can't even work outside their own promotion until al these legal options are done
Are you retarded? What is a legal option? That doesn't even make any sense. Do you mean legal issues? Because there are none, aside from an employment dispute with one individual. They had an employee who left their company, that has absolutely no legal effect on any other contract the company has entered into. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Are you retarded? This proves nothing about the situation at GB. They just scheduled a fight with Kell Brook, clearly disproving your theory because he isn't signed to Golden Boy. You ****ing dumbass.
The only thing this could possibly mean is either Hopkins's contract with GB is up in the air and he is having disputes (he has mentioned that he may want to divest from the company now that RS has left) OR GB just isn't interested in working with Duva and is just blowing smoke up his/her ass.
To take a statement made to one promoter regarding one fighter and use to to claim that GB is in disarray is beyond stupid.
People asking why TR and GBP can't do any shows yet... well they can't even make fights with Duva because they don't know who's with who and if they can even work outside Haymon/GBP yet.

Where's the lawyer Dempsey who said they have everything under control and TR just don't wanna make fights with them?
The key figure is Freddie Roach, he said in an interview that Arum asked him about Khan and he said "No Khan holds too much" Roach knows who Pac will lose to so Roach is the one leading the duck
Exactly. 100% agree.
You are wrong. I'm all for Khan vs Pac but unfortunately Pac's stubborn promoter doesn't do business with Al Haymon, whom Khan is managed by.
I guess you are asking me to take your word over his? Lol pretty sure Arum probably knows who Arum is willing to do business with better than you know who Arum is willing to do business with.
Khan is managed by Al Haymon who Arum refuses to work with.
Not true at all, he was interested in moving forward and trying to make it happen. Someone held it back, obviously Roach or Pacquiao's management who wanted an easier fight for Pac.

Oh wow... he made a fight with a mandatory challenger.... they never done that before.
But I guess you forget certain instances when you're retarded
Loma/Russell
Lara/Vanes
And coming soon, Korobov/Quillin
You claim other companies can't work with GP yet, but they just made a fight with a mandatory non-GB fighter who is promoted by Matchroom? And I'm retarded? That completely invalidates your claim, whether he is a mandatory or not is irrelevant to your claim. Your claim wasn't "other companies can't work with GB yet unless they promote a mandatory challenger." Lol, you are ****ing stupid.
These thread starters put no thought into these threads. Just a couple months ago Mayweather was ducking Khan because he told him he offered him a deal but instead went with Maidana now Pacquiao is ducking ducking Khan, idiots
I've never claimed nor do I think Floyd is ducking Khan. Floyd didn't fight Khan in May because it was hard to justify that fight and to sell it during the lead up to the fight. Maidana was coming off of a huge win and was easier to market. Stop putting words I never said into my mouth or grouping me with other posters that i don't agree with.
With that being said, Pacman is ducking Khan. Period.
This is a very bad match up for Manny, stylistic nightmare for him.
This is the opposite of Maidana vs. Mayweather, because Maidana is tailormade for Floyd he is a flat foot slow guy, who Floyd can hold onto.
Algieri is a mover, tons of stamina, he is a big guy, 5 foot 10, long reach, good jab, hard to hit flush. He is Pacman's kryptonite according to what a lot of Mayweather fans say, they say Pacman cannot handle boxers who move a lot.
This is a very dangerous fight for Manny, but Pac also gets props from me for giving Chris a chance, this is like when Barrera gave Pacman a shot at 126 from 122 pounds.
Pacman didn't do jack in 126 and was a champ at 122, and went up in weight to fight for the lineal ring championship against Barrera.
I don't get why some Floyd fans are trying to think this is a cherry pick or horrible match up? when Algieri has a huge chance to beat Pac, he is a bad match up for Manny given what they said about Manny having trouble with movers, and he is much taller and longer than Manny.
This is far from a cherry pick fight, a cherry pick is if Manny fought a tailormade opponent who will just stand there and let him tee off.
WE also know Chris is a live dog, he has a big chance to win and he will fight his heart out, just like he did against the much more difficult opponent in Rusland, Ruslan was tamed by Chris. Chris will give his all he will jab, stick and move and outclass Manny, if Manny wins I will be impressed because like many Floyd fans have said he has trouble with movers.
I would rather see Floyd Mayweather in with someone like Algeiri than Maidana or another slow plodding boxer.
Lolll it was tough to find the sarcasm in that, but once I finally did, it was hilarious. Well done, great joke.
better edit your thread...
roach does not like khan to fight pac or something on that line...see below...
"only person that said he didn't want the fight was Roach"..
so pac wants the khan fight?!
I tend to think fighters aren't scared to fight anyone. They are fighters. They usually leave the decision on who to fight up to their promoters/coaches/management. If Pacquiao was asked whether he would fight Khan I think he would say I will fight whoever they tell me to fight. So maybe I should edit it to say "Pac's team is ducking Khan."
Kahn has literally talked his way into the big leagues. Has been brutally destroyed numerous times. Hasn't won a meaningful fight in several years - but yaps yaps away into the forefront of people's mind and to believing that his average self is the best opponent for Mayweather and Pacquiao.
I gotta say - it's impressive
Because Algieri has beaten tons of great opponents and is a better option for Pacquiao than Khan, right? Lol.
If Khan didn't have his speed, he would be a bum.
Lol what a dumbass comment. Following your logic, if Mayweather didn't have his defense he would be a bum. And if Wilder didn't have ridiculous power he would be a bum.
here again, we have a very simplistic statement that gives birth to a lot of questions:

so, why did roach allowed pac to fight erik, bradley and jmm?
see where i am going?
B/c going in, roach thought Pac would win those 3 fights. Going into a Khan fight, Roach has some doubt.
Arrogance, running people over in his car and a history of bad mouthing Froch had nothing to do with it.
It was racism. :smashfrea
Lol boxers have done far worse than being arrogant and running someone over, but it's really funny that you try to cover up your racism with a smokescreen, purporting to base your hatred on bad moral character. It's funny how even the people on this thread can't just admit they dislike him due to his race/religion. If you are a bigot, at least have the balls to admit it and be a bigot with pride. We don't need your "I don't like him because he is bad to other people" BS.
I honestly do not think the booing was racially motivated at all.
Many, many fans inside the stadium were Asian and (presumably) Muslims - they booed him as well.
The UK is much more tolerant of Muslims than, say the USA or other parts of Europe so a crowd of 80,000 would be representative of a broad cross section of the UK society.
Khan was booed because he is not popular due to his arrogance and overplayed ego.
Not everything is racial, sometimes we should look past that.
Lol you must be losing it. There were no more than 100 Asian people inside that stadium, tops. And Europe--particularly the UK--are far more hostile towards Muslims than the US. All fighters have egos, you have to look beneath the surface and the purported reasons for why the Europeans hate him to figure out the real reasons. He is a lot more liked in the US because people over here are a lot less racist than in the EU.
From the flush left hook. Maybe not hurt, but it shook him up, you see what I'm saying. Collazo is not a puncher.
Yeah definitely shook him, but I think he recovered fairly well. Also agree Collazo isn't a huge puncher, but I think Khan is getting better at avoiding those huge punches that shatter his chin (albeit with questionable tactics).
