I've never said GBP won't promote him. That's his choice. But he's not obligated to have them promote his fights is the point. Dude's doing what's best for him... so why would he stay with a company that's obviously in disarray. No strings attached, Main events could promote this fight on HBO instead of Showtime struggling to deal with having to pay for him vs Mohameddi or getting stripped of his belt.
