Listen the people who are saying pacman have there reasons because PACMAN did dissapoint alot of people! But I believe it was not his fault his head was not right during that fight, now his head is clear! But I have to admit he let down his country because he should have knocked erik on his ass and went to the body more! IT is a big dissappointment because alot of people saw it and said WTF! is this the same manny who demolished barrera why is he not punching more?
Admittedly in the fight Erik exploited his bigger size to the hilt. Pac was punching a lot, the difference in this fight is that Erik defended better than MAB did in their fight. Nevertheless the way Pac fought valiantly with that cut since the middle of the fight until the end did not disappoint his countrymen at all.
Manny should have knocked him out! and he could have and Manny can and was suppose to bear morales! but Erik scared manny as you can see erik fought ala jmm with few punches and making manny back out and manny cannot fight backing out! Pacman did something wrong he did not use his straight LEFT, he was to worried about people calling him one dimensional THAT IS THE NUMBER ONE RULE to never care what people say! Then thomas hearns is one dimensional he kept using his money right hand, then kostya tszyu is as well since he uses his right hand as well. At the end of the fight that right hook aka manilla ice was powerful but too late. He should manila ice that soft body of morales.

In round 1 it looked like Erik was really
disturbed with the body shots. He was a bit crumpled

I don't give a lot on everything that's going on with Manny. I think most of them are blown up of proportion and as thing goes, it looks like Manny is every Filipino's creme de la creme nowadays, and in case of Recah Trinidad, his whipping boy.
Recah thinks that he is playing smart by being the only one on the other side of the fence, bashing Manny in everybody opportunity he gets. By doing so, he puts himself under another spotlight and he owns the spot alone, so that makes him stand out among the others who share one spotlight. So everytime Recah speaks about Manny, the sound reververates louder. In the meantime, all the other people under the other spotlight would not let Recah steal the show from them and adds another twist to the story, thus making the news louder and biffer -- and before you know it the story gets out of control, when in reality there is nothing to tell at all. And this is why even Manny's fart is a big news to them.
In other words, I don't believe everything those attention-hungry media flip people keep churning out of their make-believe mills.
I have to agree with Janno.
For whatever its worth, maybe all these
negative publicity about Pac will wake him
up and make him a better person.
But it's more than that with JMM. It's like if you dont do anything to him then he wont do anything to you. Just like the Gainer fight. Smoke was scared to death and what did Juan do? Nothing. The only time he swings is when you come to him and he never commits. It's just a couple of punches and then he stops. Dude got's mad talent but he better learn how to use it because right now it starting to look like his brother is the better fighter.

Hussein could have definitely gone on. Not necessarily win it, but at least finish the fight more respectably. I think Jeff Fenech could have given his fighter more time in the ring. Hussein was still up for the fight at that point. Too bad it had to end that way for him...
