This is how powerful Manny Pacquiao fist are. Below is the excerpt from the news:
"In fact, Pacquiao revealed that he knocked down Christopher Saluday, who weighed heavier at 147 pounds with a left uppercut Wednesday. That is bad news for Fahsan, who promised to come up with his own surprise."
Beware JMM, Morales or Barrera. The next time around will be explosive than ever.
I'm flattered, first time that someone gave me points, i don't know how will i thank you. I am planning to watch pac's fight with fahsan 3-k battery live, it's just a walking distance from our apartment. It would be great if we meet each other there. What do you say?
Thanks for the invite. Will be out of town that day but will be watching the fight in TV :)
grayfist, mooks, chito.
suggest you look at your pm boxes.Just did that!!! Such kindnesss!!! :D Didn't think X'mas is just around the corner 'till now!!! Thanxlots buddy! Wanted to give you k and points in return but I'm too dense to know how to go about it! :o
But it's more than that with JMM. It's like if you dont do anything to him then he wont do anything to you. Just like the Gainer fight. Smoke was scared to death and what did Juan do? Nothing. The only time he swings is when you come to him and he never commits. It's just a couple of punches and then he stops. Dude got's mad talent but he better learn how to use it because right now it starting to look like his brother is the better fighter. At this point, JMM may very well be the best counter-puncher out there, and that's saying a mouthful! He has a bid to be one of the best ever, and that's saying even more! But, I think he deserves all that.
Like you, however, I do believe that he has to add a little more to what he does atop the ring. He should take initiatives when opportinities present themselves.
The road to Canastota, he may sadly find, is not for those who just sit and wait! ;) :)
this is a much better observation, thanks! and i agreed with what you're telling here. in my opinion, patience should be the key and conditioning, pac needs a lot of that in order to win against JMM, whom i think is now doubly prepared for their battle in February. meanwhile, pac is being guided by roach in preparing for his tune-up fight. as reported today, pacquiao is weighing 130 or more and should double his effort to train and be 100% ready for the fight on dec. 11 (philippine time).
about the knockout made by pac on his sparring partner, that's not new anymore considering that pac is really strong. and that is a factor he will use against jmm come february. as i said, conditioning will play the bigger factor. the hungrier pacquiao, the better for him to come out and perform better agains jmm. he should stay focus because he's in for the biggest fight of his life on february.
to all who said that jmm can beat pacman, well let's just wait and see, you will all be surprised if jmm be beaten badly. he's coming of age now considering his age at 30 years old, next year will be a different year for both fighters, and who knows the winds will not go his way but pac's way.Thanx pal! :)

Pac needs to work on his defense. Once he's got that he'll be hard to beat
A Counter-puncher can't counter much if he's hurt bad. Barrera is no ordinary counter-puncher, even as he is no ordinary initiator of the action. Barrera has more dimensions than JMM who, very well-schooled as he is, just counter-punched his way to the top for the most of his career. Different Barreras appeared atop the ring for different fights,e.g., Morales I & II had a different Barrera than that which showed up for Hamed. But look at where that got him on the night he met Pac.
If a two-fisted, power-packed Pac is who JMM shall face in Feb., then JMM will be in for quite an evening! :( And so shall we be! ;) :D

Look man. I like Pac Man. I picked Marquez to win the fight, but I thought Manny won. In the end I came away disappointed with both of them and thought both were overated. Like I said I thought Pac looked one dimetional and I thought JMM was too cautious. All Juan did was counter punch. He never led and he never took any chances. It look like the only thing Manny knows how to do is throw straight right hands. As far as his hands go. You act like you never seen someone get hurt and not get KO. Tito shocked the shit out of Vargas in the first round but he shook it off and lasted to the 12th. How could Manny hurt his left hand and that was the only punch he threw the whole fight.
Just watch Manny's left after the fight and tell me if he didn't hurt his hand. And Manny isn't just throwing his left hand, he also used his right hand but he has more power if he uses his left. How can Manny put an end to JMM if he felt something on his left. He just forced himself to throw that left hand in order for him to have points. His left hand and foot keeps bothering him during the fight and that what keeps him from totally putting JMM off. This is a fact and I can argue with this anybody on this forum. I am only for the truth. As simple as that.

In all honesty, I think Pac was just having trouble finding a way in. Left straight was perfect because when it landed, JMM's countering wasn't effective. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with his foot injuries as well. He wasn't lively and bouncy as he normally is. Couldn't go in-out and that's his attack. Roach is working on the right hook (he used to KO guys with it don't know why he stopped using it) and also the uppercut. Should be a very different fight in the rematch.
What are you saying he couldn't win. He didn't won the fight merely because he was cheated. But let's not talk about it anymore. That's past. We'll be changing opinions after their rematch and I'm sure i'll be the one to laugh at you. You just don't know Manny Pacquiao and what he can do. I'm a boxing fan and I like JMM too but when he faces Pacquiao that would be a big ??????? question mark if he could win.

Agreed. I wonder what he would've said if he KO Marquez in the second round. I bet you wouldnt have heard anything about his hand then. He just felt dumb because he dropped Marquez 3 times in the 1st round and still couldnt win the fight

LMFAO!!!!!! well every boxer has an excuse for not finishing off a guy but thats all it is excuses not facts, an excuse will never be taken as nothing but an excuse, go look up the definition for excuse
Wer's ur brain man? Maybe on your foot. How can it be an excuse when all boxing fans has seen it on TV? Answer me on this. If you are a boxer and you hurt your hand after first round, would your performance be the same after that round? Answer me on this. See, it's a fact. Other people only said it's an excuse but they can't ignore the facts. Here's my question, What if Manny didn't hurt his hand and foot after round 1? Would JMM last that long ? I totally doubt it. Broken nose, no power, can't even KD an incomplete. MY GOD. He can't stand Manny is the total machine right now because of Roach and I tell you Manny will stay on top for long even if he face Morales.

Did you hear what Manny said during the post interview? Or not? He hurt his LEFT HAND after the docking JMM on the first round and he had a blister foot. If it wasn't with these two conditions, I doubt the fight would last rnd 12. This is a fact and you can't ignore. Manny showed his left hand after the fight. It got "balooned". That is the the result of the impact of his hand against JMM's face. Get it? I tell you next time around I doubt if it will last long. Manny by KO in the early rounds. Next Morales.....

Pac needs to use that right hook
This is what Roach and Pacquiao is working on right now.

Pacman can KO Marquez
By Charles Raymond A. Maxey
THAI Fahsan 3K Battery may be up next for Manny Pacquiao, but Freddie Roach could not hide the fact that he's thinking of Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez. And Roach, Pacquiao's famed American trainer, said the Filipino boxer has a good chance of knocking Marquez out the next time they face each other.
All Pacquiao needs to do, Roach declares, is for him to use both fists and not just rely on his big left like what he did against Marquez the last time. Pacquiao, the consensus People's Champion, knocked down Marquez three times in the first round but couldn't finish off the Mexican in that titular featherweight clash to settle for a bloody draw last May in Las Vegas.
That fight exposed Pacquiao as a one-dimensional fighter who relies mainly on his left hand. "In order for Manny to knock Marquez out he has to use both fists," Roach said.
Roach said he wants to correct that flaw and is now adding new weapon into Pacquiao's arsenal. "We're definitely adding something into our arsenal," Roach said.
This was clearly evident during the past two days of Pacquaio's training session as Roach tried to work on the right hook and double jab of his ward.
"They're training for the Marquez fight. They're working on the right hook," said Ronnie Nathanielz, a veteran sportscaster and boxing writer.
Roach said he's not actually thinking past Fahsan, although he is looking forward to the Marquez rematch scheduled this February.
Marquez holds the WBA and IBF featherweight crowns.
Pacquiao fights Fahsan on Dec. 11 in Taguig.
I wasnt even talking about Marquez. I was just talking about knocking out a bigger sparring partner. As for the Marquez fight Pac Man has good power but he doesnt hit as hard as it seems. It just feels harder because he's a lefty and half the time you cant see the punch and the other half you see it but you cant stop it from still landing on the chin. Other than that Manny looked very one demintional. If Marquez learns how to fight lefties and get out of the way of the straight left then theres nothing else Pac can do

U don't seem to get the point dude. The point is if you have more than enough POWER, you can end your opponent easily if you can connect and I don't think Pacquiao can't connect with JMM the next time around. It's impossible. And if he counters Manny, I don't think Manny will just stand there and wait for JMM's punch to land. JMM can't even KD Manny on their last fight and even an unknown fighter like Salido. He does not have that kind of power like Manny. Manny will be the agressive fighter next time and will be smarter. Mark my word for this "THE FIGHT WILL NOT GO THE DISTANCE". There will be earlier KO by Manny. This is an unbias point. I admire JMM because of his fighting skills but with Manny? I don't think he could win. STILL DON'T GET IT? :D
