Roy Became Shot!! After Roy was knocked out by Tarver in the second fight he was DAMAGED. He fought Glen Johnson without realizing that his body had changed although he felt mentally that he was the same. He found out in Rd. 9 of the fight that he was not himself and probably would never be again.

Roy Jones Overrated !!! Lets not forget that NO ONE I mean NO ONE wanted to fight Roy in his prime. He even offered Larry Merchant and HBO to find someone to fight him and there was NO ONE that took the challenge. His Mandatory challengers for his belts dodged him which caused him to take fights against lesser opponents. Big Roy Phone Call Roy Sr. might have a point that Roy Jones may not be discipline enough in his training and may have needed to go back to the basics and train the the way he use to. Roy Sr. stated that his methods were extreme but effective because he created a fighter that would and wanted to be the best with the condition to master the sweet science which is too hit and not be hit. BUT at 39 years old this does not have any meaning because Roy Jones Jr. does not believe in himself which equals to him not being motivated to perform to the best of his abilities. DSand35 I believe that if Tarver comes in focus with good stamina he will knock Dawson out. Tarver is a good fighter when he is focused. His problem is that he is inconsistent in big fights that takes away from his odds of winning. To his credit he beat Roy Jones three times but if he would have fought Roy after Roy beat Clint Woods instead of challenging John Ruiz his legacy may have been written in stone, but he beats Roy Jones than loses to a much older fighter in Bernard Hopkins. I'm a Boxing fan and everyone knows styles make fights. I believe that Chad Dawson has to pressure Tarver and not get caught to have a chance to win. Both of these fighters are South-Paws which may make for a boring fight if no one is willing to slug it out. Once again Tarver by knockout if his stamina is good !!!!
