Tyson had left Rooney and was a shadow of his former self by the time of the Douglas fight.................
.................Therefore ejecting himself from the top ten as his peak was sooooo short lived which is the question of the thread. Again, your argument is null and void.
You killed yourself.
Just like how Prime Vitali beat Prime Chris Byrd?
That was by injury.
Did prime Tyson not lose to Buster Douglas?
Your argument is laughable and invalid and void.
Brooks has used Khan's name to promote himself in recent years. Brooks has not done anything and is surrounded by more hype than actually being a boxing star.
Also I don't see all this power they say that Brooks has, he is a very average fighter. Lets see if he rises to the ocassion. But if Brooks don't win there is no reason why to see a Khan fight unless Khan loses his next fight too
Maybe you've been watching the wrong fighter.
Well okay, write a letter of persuasion to the promoter's, commissions and TV networks and persuade them that they don't need the extra money that kids bring, because kids belong in the playground.
I doubt parents will pay 10 (£,$) or whatever a month for their 12 year old skater boy to Boxnation for 1 fight because Tyson Fury didn't say f**k.
On the contrary, a parent watching that will be more inclined to watch the fight (controversy and excitement) and the child will then see the fight anyway....
lol as old fashioned as the TV networks who place bans on daytime swearing? Sure buddy, the TV networks, commissions, promoters and everyone in charge all think that daytime swearing will turn off viewers and lessen their business, but little old you with your sophisticated name knows better.
It wasn't on TV.
Obviously, some unknowing people walking past a press conference will stop to see what is going on. What sounds stupid about that?
Anyway, yes these parents should leave if they encounter swearing around their children , and they will leave and they will take their money with them. That's not good for the business people involved (networks, promoter's, commissions) who are actually trying to make money, and they make decisions accordingly.
Frank Warren: "Hold on, there is a chinese tourist family with a child walking past, cancel the press conference!"
But guys... think of the children doe...
THINK OF DE CHILDREN :crying:
I mean we shall let them watch two grown men pummel the **** out of each other but when it comes to a 15+ movie or 15+ game oooo no no n no no!!
That would be bad parenting letting them watch that because its urmmm... sort of real?
But anyway let me get back onto the important topic
HAHAHA, that other poster, whatever his name is, I forgot it, is as old fashioned as the BBBoC.
Why do you keep needing to be explained the basics?
In the playground, it's okay to disregard rules and do whatever the f*ck you want. In adult life, business people have to cater to business models that maximises their revenue - in this case, not swearing in front of children and parents who are offended by it and turning these people away from paying for the fight.
But kids belong in the playground....
That was hilarious. That journalist got pwned. He must've done the equivalent of giving Fury red K and crying to the mods.
I wonder is F Warren was sitting there head in hands or secretly rubbing his hands together with $$$ in his eyes..
Because it was marketed and set up for kids (under 18s) to be eligible to attend. This brings promoter's and the fighter's more money because more people tune in to watch. If Fury MUST swear and is willing to lose the extra revenue from that, then he has to persuade the promoter's that the fights be promoted in this way and that kids are banned/ineligible from attending press conferences.
So why did you say "This isn't the playground guys" ?
