KELL BROOK is aiming to move a giant stride nearer a domestic dust-up with Amir Khan by claiming a world title.
Brook bids to extend his blemish-free record to 33 straight wins by relieving Shawn Porter of the IBF world welterweight title in Los Angeles tonight.
And, if he is successful, the 28-year-old 'Special One' from Sheffield believes that an all-British clash with Khan will be on the cards.
He said: "I'm sure it can happen and, if it does take place, it can every much as big as the recent Carl Froch-George Groves fight at Wembley.

Oh wow, Amir brings so much crowd that his promoter is forced to give free tickets in exchange of toys to somehow fill the arena.
I have to say, Good Post.
-However, Khan vs Brook would be in U.K. and even for Khan's learning fights against a journeyman like Michael Gomez he sold out 10,000, which wasn't even in his hometown of Manchester, but Birmingham.

-Now let's look at Khan vs someone like Paul McCloskey in Amir's home of Manchester, which had 18,000 people at hand.

- Brook's biggest fight to date was Senchenko that had only 8,000 people and that too in his hometown of Sheffield.

So, Khan does bring bigger crowds, plus even if it was in U.S. whom do you think the public would know more?
Like I told you once and I'll tell you again:
Every other Welterweight not named Manny is simply a moocher off of Floyd's riches
Amir Khan brings money to the table. $15 million (or more) to be specific (calculations contained in a previous post I made in a similar thread (you ducked that post as I recall)
The pot of gold is bigger in a fight with Amir (as opposed to Porter, Thurman, or Garcia)
When Amir smashes Guerrero, he's going to get the fight.
I know it & you know it and I *LOVE* that you and all the Khan haters are so butthurt about it
ROFLmate, khan is a muppet.
wtf? who says what about the odds? these are two fringe fighters on the up both with nobodies at world level on either resume so why pick porter?
because hes a yank? been done before and prooved not to be the case at all.
joe calzaghe (the most recent) was expected by the so called kings of everything to be kod by that bum jeff lacy and look what happened, hamed vs johnson,kelly...nigel benn vs dewitt,barkley,mclelland...and on and on and on...
they dont rule nish.
kell will win.
its a good fight either way but, i edge kell brook.
Did Maidana get an immediate rematch from Khan? How about Julio Diaz? I guess those are different circumstances. Garcia not only beat Khan, he beat Matthysse too, and now Peterson is next. Garcia might do what Khan couldn't...unify the 140 division. He doesn't need Khan, just like Manny and Floyd. Khan better go big or go home. Time to MAN UP!

It's not about what I want, it's about being realistic. If you took your head out of your own arse for 2 seconds, you'd understand how the business works. You know how the business works...let's not fight Alexander for his title and maybe we can still get a match with Floyd...Damn Maidana took the title from Broner...Damn Maidana got the fight on Cinco de Mayo....Damn Maidana got a rematch with Floyd...Damn who am I gonna fight? It's not my head up my arse.
Guererro who went the distance in a close fight with Kamegai? Really...Kamegai? Alexander who got beat by Porter and lost his belt? I guess those make more sense than undefeated WBA interim champion Keith Thurman? NOT!!!
Well they do because no one cares that Keith Thurman is WBA interim champion. No one cares about Keith Thurman. I like him, he's a good fighter but you need to understand that he is not a name in the real world.
Easiest patch? You mean fighting Guerrero (6 time World champion and Floyd's previous opponent), Alexander (3 Time proven World champion) are easy paths? :smashfrea
Maybe thats why Danny is ducking a rematch?
Yeah! Khan is taking a easy path according to you.
But Porter gonna beat a World Beater in Kell Brook to land a Floyd shot? Have some of this :bottle:Guererro who went the distance in a close fight with Kamegai? Really...Kamegai? If Danny wanted it, he could've either:
(1) Granted the immediate rematch Khan asked for
-OR-
(2) Stopped hiding at 140 (a weight he kills himself to make) after Herrera (remember when he passed out trying to make weight in Puerto Rico and they had to cancel the public workout?) and he coulda said "hey I'm coming to 147 and for my first fight, I wanna smash Amir Khan again and silence the haters who say I landed a lucky punch" (but instead he fought Lightweight Salka).

I don't know what you're on, but the only name that comes out Khan's mouth is Floyd Mayweather. You say you're not worried about Khan gettoing a fight with Maywaether, and I call "BS!" Every move your boy makes is to get a shot a Mayweather, but he wants the easiest path, and so do you, because your both shook about getting KO'd before the fight. That's what's all this is about. That's why you want him to fight somebody who is not a threat because you still see him melting in front of Danny Garcia. You're fooling no one!

ROFL, GTFOH man, LOL
Floyd hasn't faced a fast opponent since 2006, last one he faced was Zab Judah and he lost 4 straight rounds and his gloves touched the canvas.
Anyone explain this, why Floyd is avoiding fast fighters? :boxing:

You're the one that mentioned Mayweather you wankstain. Try and stay on topic instead of using every thread to nosh off Floyd.I don't know what you're on, but the only name that comes out Khan's mouth is Floyd Mayweather. Khan's first was Julio Diaz, and I wouldn't say that went the same way as Mitchell, Baldomir, or Oscar. Don't ever put Floyd Mayweather and Khan in the same sentence. There's only one undefeated, lineal welterweight P4P champion of the world. Khan is still on Broner's level...remember you brought up the undercard money, not me...SUCKA!

Right it's just that you tried to use Floyd Mayweather as an example and ended up looking like an absolute spastic. Mayweather fought a shot to sh1t Sharmba Mitchell in his first welterweight fight. Khan fought Luis Collazo. So looks like he's already way ahead of schedule for "what champs do" :lol1:Khan's first was Julio Diaz, and I wouldn't say that went the same way as Mitchell, Baldomir, or Oscar. What a trash statement! Brook has 2 thing's Khan will never have right now. 1 being an undefeated record & the other being the holder of a Lonsdale belt out-right!!!...........
Oh well I'm sure Khan is just crying himself to sleep over that :lol1:
