Damn, looks like the Jeff lacy comeback is done. He was stopped in 2 tonight.. I never thought his comeback would be successful, but I thought he could at least get himself into cash out fight vs a bigger name.. Jeff has been done since he popped all that sh1t and calzaghe beat the piss out of him.

I knew Lacy was going to get mugged. What surprised me a bit was how Edison Miranda was getting beaten from pillar to post against Dorticos. He was still stubborn enough to see the final bell, but it was sad to see Pantera look that pitiful. I can't believe he got beaten up like that at that weight and went the distance with a guy that is supposed to be a hitter. This is a guy who Pavlik stopped at middleweight, Abraham stopped not even at full 168. Usually he gets stopped by guys with pop at any weight. I know he's tough and it's usually more of a defense thing than having a bad chin but still surprised. I didn't even know he was fighting till they decided to replay some of that fight on FS1. I didn't even realize it was him at first.

The way he reacted in the first round, whenever a guy gets hit on the ear and turns his full attention to the ref and acts like it's illegal instead of going to work on his opponent? You know they're not right. You know they're not going to be right. I figured he was fuq'd right there and he was.

True, but I got no idea who the opponent was.. I think he has a regional belt and was 12-1 Should have just made lacy-cloud... He's a Cuban dude he came from Cuba a 235 HW he had not been allowed to box for 8 years prior they said and his knee gave out in his 3rd pro fight here a la Solis vs Klitschko, but at least this tubby got in shape and is trying, he isn't that great as he once was, but hey at least got to retire a great fighter.

Don't think anybody is surprised by the outcome, to be honest. The guy he was fighting looked like a Cruiser. Nothing Lacy was throwing suggested he had it in the tank for a long fight. I think it's time that Lacy stops.
