i just come in here for boxing info. and to read peoples arguments don't really post that much, maybe once and a while but don't like to get into arguments, cuz i'm usually called an alt i guess cuz i don't post that much. beside some of the guys here that post make my day with the crazy s**t they post.
Is it me or are the boxing translaters the worst. My friends and i always laugh our asses off when ever they translate what a spanish speaking fighter gets interviewed cus usually they are way off on what the fighter is saying.

I personally would hate it. I think that would potentially be the worst fight that can be realistically made. I want Oscar to pass the torch, and Mora isn't the guy who I think would best represent the change in boxing.
yea wel i want him to pass the torch to, but i would want it to be a fight between him and margarito. but looks like it aint gonna happen cuz he doesn't want to get it a real tough fight.
that is very true, but no one can deny that Oscar has an ego as bright as Mayweather's, he just goes about it a different way. He works in subtle strategy so that the attention ultimately lands on him. Unlike Mayweather, he doesn't have to seek it. I think that he wants to be the only "Mexican" in his next bout. Fighting another Mexican only minimizes the potential sources of revenue where as fighting someone from another culture/race will bring another source of income into the equation, therefore MAXIMIZING and raising the bottom line of the business aspect of this fight (which take priority over quality when it comes to Oscar at this point).

well, let me ask you this BOOF, why can't you wait and let margarito, try and take a fight with DLH first and then fight williams in 2009.... i mean is it really that hard to do why can't you guys wait for that.... im sure marge isn't gonna retire soon and im sure he will try and avenge his loss.... but how come you guys can't wait to 2009.... just a simple question.

I do not know man maybe it is like Diaz says but i do not believe him, he makes thing out to be very black and white when it is likely much more of a grey area.
I am not knocking Margarito either because he took the right career path post Williams, I just do not think anyone really tried to make a rematch that hard.
yea and you could be right, there can be alot of grey, pink purple and blue areas... hell no one knows exactly what happens behind close doos. but when you go off on rants calling a fighter a coward when you don't have any idea what really happed. then this come to light it should show people that maybe they should :bryce:
i think most of the haters dont want the margarito vs DLH bout to happen cuz they are afraid marge would destroy DLH.... and that would just give more credibility to marge plus it would give marge fans ammunition to say that floyd couldn't do crap to DLH, while marge destroyed him.

If that part is true about Margs wanting a rematch which I know he did, you make it seem like Williams said no to a rematch when after the fight he said he would. Williams and his people probably advised him to fight another fight who knows. We have to hear Williams side of the story.

he would get much more respect if he faced Margarito and would fight the fight of his life. no back pedalling, no dancing around the ring just toe to toe, i'll punch you and you punch me brawling (or as some would say the true warrior way), and whether he would win or lose. he would get the respect and admiration that he so longs for from the mexican public.
I actually made a thread about this earlier today. Oscar has became a selfish clown and i really hope Margarito gets his hands on him. I give Oscar credit for fighting everyone when he was in his prime, but he has still shown that he is a very good fighter and can still compete on the elite level but is being greedy for big pay day's and easier fights against smaller opponents.

I'd say the difference is Margarito's stock after his lost to Paul was extremely low. He was getting hyped up for supposedly scaring Mayweather and all of that Mexican hype bull shit, but after the loss his resume looked even worse. Williams had no reason to offer him a rematch because what little Margarito brought to the table was all ready gone.
It's different now as Margarito now has chips to bring to the table again.
well wouldn't you say the same about williams after losing the fight with quintana...... yet they still had an imidiate rematch.... yet williams didnt want to give the rematch to margarito.
i thought it had been established in another thread that Shalafi had an attractive lady, no offense Shalafi, but i remember a thread were alot of members gave you props and told you to fuck the haters, cuz your woman was very attractive.
