The first fight was an easy fight for Quintana. This is boxing, and people do get hit in the face. 116-112 on 2 cards thats 8-4 and the other was 115-113 that was 7-5. By the looks of the first two cards, that was pretty damn decisive. That's almost the same as Margarito-Williams, yet you claimed that fight was ultra close. You can't have it both ways H-Town LOL. 118-110 is easy. If you're losing rounds, then no way can you call it "easy".

I would, you would, we all would. But whats fair is fair. Margs earned his title. Lost and regained another one. Paul won one, lost, then won it back. Is it fair for Quintana not to get a rematch when he gave Paul a rematch? Quintana's decisive UD in the 1st fight is easy to overlook cuz Williams destroyed him by 1st rd KO the 2nd time. Based on that, I've said before that Paul has a right to pursue a bigger fight if he can get it before he makes a trilogy wit Carlos. But if Tony and Paul have anotha fight 1st and don't rematch immediately, Quintana is the man Williams should fight.

No matter what happened or didn't happen before, fact remains that Tony is the top WW now but needs to beat Paul to maintain that status. The fight will likely happen in spring. Williams was scared to rematch??? lol. margarito asked for the rematch right after the fight. his manager tried to enforce the mandatory and williams knew he was ruined so he ducked margarito to take an easy fight quintana. but he did realize he was so ruined by margarito that even quintana was to much for him. and where was williams saying margaritos name when he was destroying johnson and cintron???

Rogelio you're cool with me and it's nothing personal. But I think what Diaz said was BS. I tend not to believe things like this when they are said long after the fact. Diaz and Margarito never said one thing about this leading up to the Williams-Quintana fight. Margarito has never bitten his tongue about anything before. If this was true, I'm sure Margarito would have made it clear at some point before now. It seems like a convenient way of excusing him for avoiding the rematch. I don't blame Margarito 100 percent though. I do not know man maybe it is like Diaz says but i do not believe him, he makes thing out to be very black and white when it is likely much more of a grey area.
