First things first, he has 5 losses. A true great boxer will have no losses or maybe 1 or 2, not 5. 5 losses shows lack of discipline and not studying your opponents carefully. Now lets take a look at his resume George Foreman - just a big man with big punches but was slow as a turtle. First 32 fights were garbage fights with taxi drivers and tomato cans. Larry Holmes was 80 years old when he fought him. Michael Spinks was a good one. Lost to real opponents such as Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield. Loses last two fights and even quits on his stool showing lack of heart and courage. The only reason people think he is good is because he looked good against nobodies (his first 30-40 fights). He was one dimensional, had poor defense Lacked stamina and heart to continue into later rounds Lost to every legit opponent except Spinks Quit on his stool, having no shame at all Poor, inconsistent work ethic. Muhammad Ali is great, but not The Greatest. Muhammad Ali has 5 losses. I don't see Ali winning championship belts in FIVE different weight classes. I don't see Muhammad Ali selling 4 million PPV. Why are people still referring to Floyd as a coward? He has stepped in the ring professionally, 49 times, and won every single time. Boxing is one of the most toughest and dangerous sports. He has fought 23 world champions and every single fight he put his health at risk and could have easily gotten brain damage from all the punches to the head in his nearly 20 year career as a professional boxer.
