Just cuz bieber could easily kick your a55, doesn't mean he could even be a tomato can.
Pretty sure Justin Bieber can kick 90% of people on boxing scene forums asses
Worst thread of 2015. This is another prime example of why red bars should not have thread making ability.
How is this a bad thread? Lets see what type of threads you make, loser
I was just watching Mike Tyson videos on youtube, and every single comment was like "See Floyd this is what a real boxing match looks like"
"Mike is a real boxer floyd is a hug runner chicken blabla"
hopefully this forum is not filled with people like that..
They're very, very different, of course.
Floyd was the unequalled master of the sport in his time. For two decades.
Tyson was a spike, a momentary super-phenomenon. His brief moment surpassed anything achieved by Floyd in pure excitement, fear, primal power, and surprising and amazing speed and skill in such a squat, thickly muscled body. But Floyd had by far the more lasting success and command of the roost -- through carefulness, dedication and professionalism.
Floyd was lithe, enjoying a deceptive size and reach. (Look at him versus Canelo, who is thicker but not at all bigger in frame.) Very slick, very elusive, very efficient.
Tyson was 50% monster, 50% machine.
Both guys knew their stuff. Tyson was a student of boxing, an expert on its history (charmingly going back to the first decades of the 20th Century.) Floyd knew, trained and sparred against many of the best fighters of his time.
Who would you rather hang with? For me that's an easy question. It ain't Mayweather.
Both guys were great fighters. Floyd throughout his career. Tyson for only a very short time.
I would put the top version of Tyson against any heavyweight. I think he (circa 1987 or 88) would beat as many historical heavyweight opponents as anybody. He didn't last long, but he was quite a force.
Floyd is an all time great at LW and JWW, for sure. Not sure about WW; his competition there was fairly weak, and his frame would've struggled against rangier guys like Robinson, Hearns or Leonard.
How about Tyson Fury and Muhammad Ali's legacy. Who is better
In real life a lot of people carry weapons and no matter how much you lift weights, chasing them around trying to make them clean your shoes probably won't end well.
It's a cool gay fantasy scenario though. Hope you had a good wank.
Pulling a gun on Mike Tyson who probably has 20 guards with him isnt a good idea either
i want to drop out so i can focus full time on boxing, but then if i fail in boxing i will have no back up. but if i stay in university, i will not have enough time for boxing.
but then again, would i rather work 9-5 for a mediocre salary, or earn 200 million for a fight?
Floyd just cherrypicked his way to the top. He very rarely fought a prime fighter who wasn't weight-drained or faded. It's pretty easy to do that. Many think he lost 3 or 4 fights too so there is a degree of luck involved with the judges but overall being a career-long cherrypicker is pretty straightforward.
if cherry picking your way to the #1 p4p spot and earning minimum 30 million/fight is so easy, why aren't more people doing that? besides Pacquiao
It's just clever marketing, a lot of boxers try to do it but then get exposed for being overhyped since they end up fighting legit opposition. Mayweather's illusion just lasted longer than other hyped fighter's illusions because he fought virtually no decent opposition in their prime but backed that up with clever fight-hyping, the contrived "love or hate" persona, so many more people fell for the hype and made Floyd a rich man.
It's all an illusion though, he ducked too many legit prime fighters to even be taken seriously. He's a nobody and as time goes by more people will realize the truth, as seems to be a pretty common pattern seen among boxing fans. Seems to take a while for people to wake up to reality.
He fought 23 World Champions
Oscar De La hoya, Shane mosley, ricky hatton, zab judah, manny pacquiao, castillox2, canelo alvarez undefeated
are you calling these guys nobodies too (since he defeated them)
you know what guys i have made my decision. I am going to withdraw from my course at university. I dont want to work a 9-5 job.
I want to sell out stadiums, talk trash, drive Bugatti's and earn 200 million for a fight. I will become like Floyd one day
Yeah, but they called him coward before he fought Pacquiao too, not just after. Haters gon hate I guess. Not fair to label a man a coward when he was literally given up his life dedicating himself to boxing and putting his life at risk
fighter of the decade.
greatest of his era.
Those awards are based on popularity, and are biased. Just because
heis humble and popular doesnt mean he is the best boxer. Floyd exposed him like the fraud he is
You think it's easy but it's not. Most sports are just games with nothing to do with real life but boxing and MMA are very much like a real life fight. They are the only sports that are 100% about two fighters trying to hurt each other. Many athletes come to boxing from football and basketball and they almost never do well in boxing. Boxing is too hard and rough for them. To be the best at boxing a fighter must train extremely hard. Few athletes in other sports train as hard as boxers train. You must have great courage, hand and foot speed, stamina and hand-eye coordination and toughness. No other sport requires so much to succeed.
But floyd mayweather is a coward with no courage and he made it to the top
ESPN rated it as the most difficult sport to participate in.
They also said you're a fking idiot.
If its so difficult, how can someone go in and easily win 49 times?
Red k for being stupid and unfunny. Go away child.
Your sig gif is stupid. The ref stopped it because the round ended. Retard trying to show Floyd using ref to his advantage lol. Stay bitter. Marcos got whooped twice
