Good that this fight is finally on although 5 years late. If this was a few years back when pacquiao was a beast I'd probably lean towards pacquiao. But at this point I'm definitely favouring mayweather in this fight.

It was close, the referee was terrible, Froch was pushing all night and didn't even get a warning, then Dirrell in one of the later rounds fouled (can't remember what) and had points dropped without warning. Close fight though and probably should have been a rematch maybe after the super six.

Terry O'Connor in Calzaghe vs Manfredo. He stopped the fight so prematurely it was unreal, especially for a world title fight. Manfredo wasn't hurt in the slightest and wasn't taking any hard shots. Was a joke fight and a joke stoppage.
its their fault entirely. they were only forced to wear those gloves because they didnt have enough back up gloves, a fighter usually chooses at the very least thee pairs of gloves in case his opponent rejects the others. which by the way happens rather often, sick of people pretending this is some new stunt floyd came up with that nobody ever did before.

The commission approved the red MX's it was the orginal blue custom made MX's that was rejected because custom gloves wasn't stipulated in the contract , but they didn't want Maidana wearing punchers gloves, they even didn't want him wearing cloto reyes gloves.
If I'm not mistaken Nicolino said TMT was gonna offer Maidana more money not to wear the red ones.

Was a good fight, there were some close rounds, I can see a draw or even Maidana scraping it being generous, but I think the right man won with the cleaner more accurate punching and better defense.
Floyd/Ellerbe/Schaefer ignored the commission approved MX's gloves and insisted Maidana to wear pillow gloves.
But it's not up to them. If they didn't like the gloves it's their problem, Maidana should have carried on as normal and worn them anyway.
He did a lot better than I thought he would, gave Mayweather really tough fight. Respect to Maidana he is clearly a quality fighter who has been badly underrated in the past. Love how he genuinly didn't give broner or floyd much respect, just did his work.
