Which would be the bigger upset?

Well, a lot of us complain that these promotors don't put on fights that we wanna see. The reality is Rigondeaux wanted the fight, Donaire wanted the fight. Their managers are happy with the fight, their coaches I believe are happy with the fight and the promotional companies involved are happy to do the fight. That's the formula it takes for a fight to take place, not just promotors - even though sometimes they may piss us off. One could say Top Rank had no choice, but they could have made other fights for both of them. So i'm still kinda shocked they put this fight together in the first place. Enjoy the fight everyone!

I'm prob at risk getting banned for this but i'm feeling a bit giddy. This is prob one of the most (or the most) hyped yet anticipated fight in recent times especially around Europe. It can never live up to the hype no matter how good the fight is, but hey what has to happen in order for it to live the hype? why not add to this dumb list! for the fight to live up to this hype 1. Chisora and Haye knock each other out 3+ times 2. the referee gets knocked out "by accident" 3. Pacquio surprisingly sitting at ring side decides to jump in Hayes corner to help 4. ring music kicks in and Mayweather arrives and everyone is wandering why he out of jail - goes straight to Chisoras corners, tag team match ensues Mayweather-Chisora Vs Pacquio-Haye. 5. The rock comes after music kicks in, and rock bottoms everyone. 6. Michael buffer gets rock bottomed after the event upon announcement of winner 7. Jinkee cheats on Pacman in the changing rooms with Chisora 8. ...

It may not be finalized as of yet but recent articles indicate they prob will. Also reports of being at Middlewieght limit. I have mixed feeling about this but surely i feel it is the best fight for the balance between legacy and financial impact as compared to Martinez and Canelo. Poll coming up. Do any of you think its possible that Mayweather will fight Khan next year and Pacquio will fight Bradley before they fight each other? Be that it may the odds are Pac and Mayweather will win these fights more so for Pac. It seems like a perfect remedy to create an even bigger showdown for general fans between Pac and Mayweather.

Or anybody who is a slugger and quite offensive come-forward type fighters at this point. His amateurish mistakes seem to appear in this case. Khan boxes much better against boxers who are more stationary. Boxers like Maidana like to catch you in the ring and i was quite surprised how Maidana was able to keep pressure on Khan Khan would have had an easier time with Alexander, simply because he's a much more stationary fighter. Bradley I am entirely unsure. Do you agree? Btw I am no expert or claiming to be, just want peoples knowledge on this for those who have been around long enough or anyone with input.

I'm gonna put down my boxing predictions down for next week and see what happens. I don't really know much at the moment but been into boxing for a while now and I am far from an expert. Let me know your views if you wish to reply to a beginner in the sport lol Khan vs Maidana: Khan win - KO round 8 Pretty optimistic i know, Majority of brains on boxingscene will prob claim a wide-UD and possibly a late TKO in favour of Khan. Maidana will come in strong in the first few rounds in a bid to keep busy and try to tag Khan earlier on and wear him down. Possibly shots to the body and try to keep Khan busy. Khan on the other hand will utilize his jab from the start. After round 5-6 Maidana would be very much frustrated by Khans skill and speed that he would be more prominent in looking for a KO just because his shots are not effectively landing on Khan (face or body). I know Maidana's trainer prob has a plan to wear Khan down so he slows and take him out in the mid to later rounds but it's not happening. Maidana will ultimately try to take the fight the way he likes it. When this happens Khan will drop him about round 5-6 round, the shots will be pretty flush and more people will be surprised by Khan and his increasing ring intelligence. (I'm a big Khan fan - so you could prob notice the bias lol) Chisora Vs Klitschko: Klitschko - TKO round 7\8 Chisora has no experience with a veteran like Wlad. Chisora will gradually get worn down. He will produce a few good flurries but nothing to worry Wlad. Chisora will be kept at bay pretty much every round until he gets exhaustive in the later rounds and add to Wlads KO stats. Since I'm british, I hope I'm wrong and its an action packed fight (Oh and Chisora to win by KO). But have to be realistic Ortiz vs Peterson - ? I'm going to watch a few more fights of Ortiz and have no knowledge of Peterson whatsoever so it would be pretty dumb to make a prediction now I will add more predictions later since many decent fights are on next week on Saturday In both Europe and America.

Simple question, and maybe a reason. Alot of people on here see a wide UD and hype Khan's chin. I think it's going to be TKO victory for khan late in the rounds. Also not ruling out a KO in Khans favour. I also think Maidana will be hit pretty flush with a lot of punches.

My first prediction of the outcome, Khan will take a mid to late TKO from this fight and Maidana will do no significant damage. I cannot even see Maidana even wobbling him, for that he will need to land some clean shots and he won't land any. Khan will be landing the more cleaner shots, even better than ever before. His jab will be more effective. Maidana claims to bring something new to this fight but I believe he will bring the same offense and style as he previously had. Styles do make fights one may say but I think this is great for Khan to silence the critics and get impressive win. In the end Khan >>> Maidana except in power. But power is no use if you can't land. I can't see Maidana cutting off the ring well against Khan either. Maidana will get extremely frustrated and will definitely look for the one punch knockout much more anxiously as the fight goes on, which is what he should aim for anyway once the time is right. But this will be his downfall for him it will come with a price. Bare searching, no output Khan TKO 8-9 30k khan beats Maidana (in any fashion) 1:1 8k to your 25k khan will win by KO/TKO

I was watching the Martinez fight, and i heard them saying Mayweather SAID he wanted to fight the winner of this very match. Is this true and is there a source? If it does happen I'm down for it either way. Mayweather UD

Too many threads showing a one-way one-sided analysis based on who they think are going to win. But i guess that's boxing talk for ya! For me it's 50/50 straight up if they ever fight. Probably slightly edging towards Mayweather if I were to choose. Manny has never been in the ring with anyone anywhere near technically defensive and accurate as Mayweather and it doesn't look like he has been preparing for one. His last 5 opponents are more brawlers than anything and Clottey was a pile of ****. I blame his camp for focusing more on propping up his resume. Mayweather on the other hand will be tested left right center if the fight gets made with Manny. The question is can his defensive technicality overcome the amount of output Pac delivers. At the end I predict one of them will make the other look abysmal. Either Mayweather will get a loopsided decision on points or a 10th-12th round TKO. Or pacquio by devastating knockout within 5 rounds. I can't see the Pac camp having a plan B either way so I sense if Mayweather starts of good by picking accurate shots against Manny then it will end that way. Hello this is my first time posting. even though i have been here for some time on forums never made a thread just something on my mind. If Amir khan rides through his fights more or less in decent fashion with mostly wins etc, who thinks mannys last fight will be with khan? I just have that strange feeling it will come to that when mannys past his prime possibly. I hope this thread is not lame let me off otherwise lol. oh and sorry for pulling in title, amir khans last fight sounds dramatic
