the fight shouldve been stopped by the dr and the ref. a cut happened in the judah/clottey fight, though not as bad as MAB, but the dr called for the stoppage of the fight. zab could no longer see and mab's gash was far worse than judah's. as the above poster said these people are FIGHTERS ofc they dont want the fight to be stopped, doesnt mean that the dr/ref should allow it. the blood was flowing into a terrible spot on mab's face and they couldnt stop the blood. i mean srsly anyone who thinks the fight shouldnt have been a NC need to have their eyes checked.

like ive been saying in many previous posts, a lot of the people commenting on how fouls and shit have been going on have no boxing experience. this is a boxing match not a wrestling match, you arent suppose to sit there and put people in headlocks and expect the ref not to break you up. hatton is KNOWN for grabbing/hugging in his fights and the way he trains is utterly stupid; let hit this body bag that isnt moving and just whack away at it while screaming w/ WIDE ass shots. while i do admit mayweather does foul quite a bit in this fight with grabbing hattons arms on the opposite side of what the ref cant see and using his elbow, but hatton also fights dirty grabbing mayweather as well and hitting him behind the head numerous amount of times.
hatton's fault was that he was charging in head first w/o working behind a jab. regardless of the 6" reach advantage or not he needed that to get in and set up his body shots instead of trying to bully/wrestle a guy that into the ropes where mayweather covers up so well. ricky's lack of BASIC defense also caused him to eat lead rights all day, i mean it's really fucking easy to block a lead right esp when floyd half the time leans in before he throws it and being like a few feet away when he throws it. instead of simply blocking it w/ his left he attempts to reach for it on many occasions mistiming and eats it.

donaire has always had hand problems, especially his left hand, this was stated even during the darchinyan match. to me donaire made this fight a lot harder than it had to be, despite his injured hand. like the commentators stated he wasnt punching in combinations and also his fundamentals tonight were horrid. donaire does state he feels as if he punches w/ more power w/ his hands low, but a lot of his punches were off balance ESPECIALLY those right hands. im also really shocked that the penalosas didnt tell nonito to go for the body/uppercuts more which has really been working for him lately.
im not taking anything away from concepcion, but lets be real, 4 1/2 lbs away from weight limit when supposedly you were 120 on the 9th and couldnt lose 5 lbs by the 15th? even w/ all these people hating on donaire w/ the excuses fact is these guys are professionals and are contracted to make weight.
i just hope the penalosas go back to the basics w/ donaire after this fight and have him be more of the boxer/puncher which gave him all his success.

im a pac fan and even prior to this fight i have mayweather beating him pretty easily. mayweather's style doesnt suit well for pac. floyd is a counter puncher, naturally bigger in size, has better ring generalship and overall is just a better boxer. he's the best pure boxer the sport has atm.

Mosley is arguably the #1 welterweight, coming off the most impressive performance of his career (albeit 16 months ago), and Mayweather is an undefeated, P4P #1 or #2 (depending on your perspective) fighter in the world facing his toughest challenge yet. I don't see how this can possibly be over hyped!

i believe people feel it's overhyped cause it shouldve happened long ago, but both have avoided it(shane when asked if he would fight mayweather after collazo said he had a toothache). besides that mosley is known to have problem against technical boxers; winky, vernon, and cotto to a degree.
the only way i see mosley winning depends on his trainers gameplan and if shane is able to carry out that gameplan w/o getting discouraged. majority of us saw his facial expression against winky and vernon, he looked as if he had given up. if he's able to keep his composure through the fight it could make for a good fight, but my guess it's going to be another floyd snoozer.
