And yet he'll be a first ballot hall of fame fighter and one of the best to do it at 168. Great accomplishments for someone with only illegal tactics as skills.
Yoo. I know Ray personally. And he is my corner for a 1985 New England title fight at Lowell, MA. Great guy.
1) Overgoverance
2) "duel-tri"
3) HVY.wt. Div. being encroached upon.
These are the three (3)REFORMS I hope to institute with my work

John Wilkinson update. American Boxing Federation is a work I first founded on May 15, 2018 and it is under the constitution of my first work, the UWBCAFO-I.
NOT SURE WHAT I HAVE PUT OUT ABOUT THIS ALREADY HERE..before the disrupter enteredNothing better to do with his/her time.
Note: their are TWO ABF. My ABF is exclusive and by my own name.
I can and will authorize title matches at the weights previous marked. CITY STATE REGION NATION.
My KEY to helping the SPORT be found again is in the authorization we will give to SHOWCASE,
My phone number hasn't changed. PLEASE READ THRU OPEN STATEMENTS POSTED BY JOKERS. THANK YOU.
Good luck with all of this.
But the promoters don't want reform. They are the ones that encouraged the current mess in the first place, because it benefits their wallets.
Thank you my friend!!

I might be too high or you are. Not sure which, but leaning towards you cuz I haven't taken an edible today yet.
Dude how you get all those points. And what does it mean? Also why you talk "MEANINGLESS" to me??
English, motherf uckers!!! DOES ANYONE ON THIS F UCKING FORUM SPEAK IT?
Dude you are wasting only with a contribution such as that. I been into my sport more than 50 years. I sure am not making money being here thus you don't need to come on my stream and act as if I been some PIG TO YOU.
People like you are agrivated about themselves and look for targets at large and... JUST GROW UP!
What is with these tards saying "hurt" when all the guy got was punched? Just because a glove touched him he was hurt? Are they THAT desperate?? Holy fuk there's some delusional fuks in this place.
I agree (but you...say it so much better that I ever could!)
John, you sure have a lot of posts, man. "Wow".
This is your friend who helped a little bit sparring to get ready for Brett (L.) *remember we were sparring and.... the "1" r. I did better than you (sparring) Mac's chair he was sitting in collapsed (may been **act!).
I would rather use my real name but...I'm not sure the history here. BoxRec I be forced to use cover name. I suspect something may of happened with BoxingScene too.
Writers: it's better off to NOT include a 'IBO'. The FIRST &major FOUR aught to of already imposed limits to even hold anything beyond their four. Why they have not is a true breakdown in leadership common sense.
Believe me, most fans with any time at all involved WON'T ACCEPT 'IBO'.
I have no idea what's going on right now
20-7 nice. Read my record synopsis too! I have not been on here quite a while. Normally I am pretty good at communicating. I ATTACK the IBO the "duel tri." And the "ghost" of Fury-Arum-ESPN scope!!
I had 41 fights amateur. Was 0-12 pro though. Amateurs am verified at 25-15-1 11 KO (3x lost 'rsc').
Army in Germany won V Corp Novice 4-0 (4 KO). Open 1-0 (KO). New England G.G. '83 was 4-1 as runner-up 156lb to Bob Christakos of Lowell (boxer has one win vs Robbie Sims; lost dec vs Marlon Starling & Starling in my corner for the match)
I turned pro at 32 and I'm 62 now. Amateur...the V Corps I won at LIGHTWELTERWEIGHT. I'm 151lb walking around always, then and now. I moved to welterweight after losing my first match .
After moving to W. wt. I was soon forced up to 156. And....I stayed in that weight but I was small for that weight.
My pro debut was 168lb contest. Record carries 160 but it was 168.
I fought all, 'calibrated' opp. It is a "good bad" record really. One match (DQ) JM 8 at M 3 at SM once I fought LH .
When Vinny Pazienza wins WBA JM against Gilbert Dele on Oct. 1, '91 I opened the card against a former no-.1 nationally rated opp for 165.
In 1980 Founded Boxing at Central CT. State U.and they had 12 year run.
Now, I have two groups: The UWBCAFO-I (working to ECHELON THE SPORT) & the American Boxing Federation .
SO, that's all I'll say for now.
Except: Boxing a "name game". You compete, you make a RECORD. You'll know what someone can do by looking at their record.
I have a 11-4 amateur record ive never been dropped or stopped and i contend i was robbed atleast 3 times. I plan to turn pro at 26/27. Im 24 rn. I started late but i had been watching boxing for a long long time and did muay thai amateur before that
I'll love to talk with you!
This lead writer is demeaning the BoxingScene site by giving 'IBO' notice. Their is much admin history behind this and true fans know exactly where I am coming from saying such.
It's a reflection back-at-you.
I am NOT here at this SITE that very long however, Boxing has been a life long interest for me. I know what I say.
Wow. This is news to me today. I know Ray from here in CT. and...in the 1985 N.E.GG I believe it was..Ray handle my corner for the finals .
Ray was a great guy. This is really say news.
John Wilkinson in Connecticut
(Johnbook) Really not sure what Ray did on the pro side. I believe he was involved.
'83 New Englands we have for our team myself, Al Hunt (165lb) Mac Buckley (coach) Ray Bright (139 that year) Ray C (Coach) and the renown Marlon Starling (coach) prior to his title reins.
Mike Tyson just coming out that year. We are together on the Holyoke team.
Ray Bright was the one I was looking at as the "future big star" of the group. < Ray Corso's fighter.
Forgive me...
Don't know him. Ray was a trainer? Of amateurs or?
Ray used to be ahead of a club in New Haven. I remember Steve Cotton was one great fighter he had at one point .
Ray Bright was a strong protege Ray C had. Ray B. won NE 147lb in '85.
Yeah. Well known in the region.

Claude Palle, I gather you are in Spain. Back in 1989 I agreed to go to Spain for one match. Alas....... we learned something about the show that was "counterproductive" so..we pulled out. Would of been my fifth match at-that.
Are you a FAN? Are you related to that fighter you mention?
Boxing "screwing itself NICE now and" utterly destroying their history. And I'm talking future history not past.
You can pick up on the linkage of HVYwt DIV. if you wish to truly enjoy & appreciate Boxing as Sport.
I'm gonna look at that fighter.
I have someone here with a amateur pedigree yet..he already age 35.
What else you do?
Never heard of him but..I'll look for him
Hi Guys. I am new to this forum. My favorite fighter is Kerman Lejarraga. Look forward to discussing boxing with you guys.
John Wilkinson in Connecticut Director of the ABF and Exec Dir. Of the UWBCAFO-I
What's smooth7680 talking about?
Look like a practice rymeing game. Exactly. Claude Palle has a few friends (one of which is a Boxing fan) who is connected to the identified name fighter here.
Run away from "here"?
That IS a meaningless post if we ever see one. Or I DON'T KNOW.
