Calzaghe is screwed.

Perhaps, I always thought Buster Douglas was given too much time in the Tyson fight and should have been counted out. Doesn't matter much at this point though. Katsidis is young, he'll be back.

Witter has the best chance to beat him, Malignaggi has a chance. Ricardo Torres could give Hatton some trouble but I don't think Torres would beat him. You beat me to it. I don't think Torres would be an easy fight for Hatton by any means. With Ricky pigging out the way he does between fights, it will get continuously harder to make 140, decreasing his effectiveness there.

Yes Spinks got in the ring but because he was scared he didn't perform and got KOed in 91 seconds. Spinks should have never taken the fight if he was going to be that scared to freeze up like that. Good old Michael "To tell you the truth, I'm not too crazy about getting in the ring with that man" Spinks. What did he make that night? Like 10 million dollars a minute?

I'd say Cotto at 147 or 154, DLH just doesn't have it anymore, and hasn't for some time now. I'll go with decision though, DLH has a pretty awsome beard, and knows how to survive when hurt, unless Cotto can catch him with a fierce body shot like Hopkins did.

You are one of FEW that actually believe this. If a young Roy Jones couldn't stop Bernard, I seriously doubt Calzage will. Yeah Hopkins is getting up in age, but he is in phenominal shape and his defence is exceptional (not to mention his beard.)

Well yeah, absolutely, when you factor in that Calzaghe, Hopkins and Jones are not going to be fighting anyone other then huge named stars and only have a couple fights left in their careers. Johnson is past his prime and up there in age. Tarver, well, Tarver hasn't shown anything good in a few years and the best is probably behind him. I haven't seen much of Zsolt, so no comment there, and like I said, Chad Dawson is the youthful one of the bunch. So yes, absolutely the division is weak and perfect for a new star to emerge. You might be right by the time this guy quits fighting tomato cans and steps up in opposition, I just don't see how it's weak right now.

I think Winky presents the toughest fight for Pavlik at MW right now. But I think Kelly will wear him down and eventually break through his guard.

There is not a huge size difference between Manny and De La Hoya. Pernell Whitaker was 5' 6 fighting at welterweight. Although this fight probably wont happen because of money and the fact that Oscar has everthing to lose and nothing to gain, while Pac has everything to gain and nothing to lose, since people expect him to lose. So there's not a huge size difference between Paul Williams (6'2") and David Haye (6'3"), correct?

Lennox Lewis's Break-down of : INSERT FIGHT HERE Well, the thing you have to keep in mind is- both guys have come to fight. Neither guy wants to lose, so they are going to give it their all. ______ is an amazing boxer, but so is _________ and when you put that together you have all the ingredients for a great fight. I think we can expect both men to take a lot of punches tonight and, if one guy can't handle any more punches- he's going to get knocked out of there. If they both can take the punishment this will go the distance. I expect to see lots of punches thrown, some landing, some missing- but overall, just a real fight. Both guys are going to try and hurt the other. It's going to be good and, at the end of the night, one guy is going to come out the victor. Nice one.:lol1: :lol1:

Hmm, not sure if I ever heard of him. Anyone have any videos? The Light HW division is pretty weak right now, Johnson, Tarver, Hopkins, Roy Jones and Calzaghe are all old and/or past their primes and will be retired in a couple years. Chad Dawson's really the only youthful one of the bunch. Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, Chad Dawson, Glen Johnson, Antonio Tarver, Zsolt Erdei, Roy Jones, etc and you think LHW is pretty weak?:ugh:

If there's anyone who's not going to rush a prospect i'm sure its warren. Are there any instances where rushing a prospect has actually paid off? Wilfred Benitez winning the WBA 140lb title at 17 years old? Mike Tyson? I agree with you though, 95% of the time they lose and their careers (and their confidence) are never the same. I'd give Khan about another year.

No Hopkins deserves credit for exposing a guy who's not on his level. Again. Like he exposed Roy Jones Jr and Jermain Taylor? Hopkins made a promise to his mother to retire at 40, we all see how that turned out.
