He fights at catchweight against fighter either smaller or bigger, who are subjected to a weight clause on pre fight weigh in, canelo being the master of rehydration weight gain, packs on the weight on fight day and comes into the fight the heavier guy. When was the last fight you can recall canelo knocking out a worthy opponent in prime? Or any fight for that matter? Cotto wasn't in his weight class and not in prime, fight went 12 rounds, Lara could have gone either way. Where is the greatness is canelo? He was running all night from GGG.

None of those headbutts were intentional, if anything they are on Roman for coming in when Rungvisai has his head low. And damage afterwards? That's free game, just because a cut may be caused by a headbutt doesn't mean the opponent isn't going to target the wound. LMAO. It's a FIGHT!!

For those who think he doesn't belong in the weight class: Cuadras beat sor for the title, gonzalez beat cuadras for the title, sor beats gonzalez for the same title he lost, but robbed Gonzalez, who by the way is mourning the loss of his head trainer and clearly not in the best mental state , still wins a fight despite the headbuts and frustration of bleeding, sets a power punch record for that division, outpunches sor, gets robbed. Rematch, he wants revenge, but still not right with his best trainer dead, not physically in his best shape, loses not surprisingly. Had his trainer still been around him, he'd still be champ.
Remember that vanes dropped andrade and fight went the decision, where as ggg finished vanes in 2 rounds. People thinking that charlo/andrade or saunders are any match for GGG are stupid.

If canelo has power, expect GGG to fight smart like against david. Either way GGG will be the one to dictate the fight. It looks like GGG plan might work and lure canelo back into the picture.
2 judges had Brook winning 2 of the first 4, one judge had Brook winning 3 of the first 4. And no, your hero did not walk through all the Brook punches. And he had a bloody snoot and Abel was grinding on him big time, and GGG gave himself a 4 out of 10 on performance. You GGG fans need to just be quiet and concede your guy was getting schooled for a couple rounds there. Brook landed some serious shots. Or ignore reality. No worries either way IMO. Physically GGG wasn't in his usual form, whether it was sickness or jetlagged or fatigued, yet he still nearly ko'd brook in the first round. if you didn't notice, he let his guard down and brawled, he let brook in and said hit me more. Why? because he felt what power brook had, and like he's said and done before, he brawls and allows the opponent to get exchanges to please the crowd because he feels their little power! Even after the fight he mentioned he felt no power, he mentioned respecting fighters with power such as david lemieux, and in that fight he fought smart!. He gave himself a 4/10 because he knows himself he felt like **** going into the fight. Now imagine GGG at his usual 10/10. There is no other boxer fighting today that has a better record than him when you combine both amateur and pro, so yes he is the God of boxing today.

When GGG beats charlo and demands the fight with canelo, canelo will give him the belts and stay in that division to avoid him, or stay there for 2 years dragging it out waiting til lGGG is even older and slower, before he does fight him. Canelo was hurt and almost knocked out in that last fight, all the power shots and jabs to his head, canelo too scared to make a 3rd fight while both still in prime, well GGG just out of prime maybe.

This fight should have happened 2 years ago. Canelo and his belt were just an obstacle in GGG's path. It should have never been such a big deal, till canelo made a fool of himself. I would have rather seen GGG chase and unify all titles then move up.
Andrade moved up and fought someone 2 classes bigger. Benavidez was a cruiserweight that night. Sport of boxing need to start imposing mandatory weigh ins on fight day, and give the fighter an automatic loss on record if he falls outside the weight class

While everyone in mexico buys ppv and watches it at home, the rest of the world go out and watches it for free at pubs/sports bars, club venues, have a few drinks with the mates, a nice feed and be among the crowd in great atmosphere. So ppv numbers doesn't make 1 fighter popular than the other.

We all know canelo is the king of dehydrating/rehydrating, catchweight hero. Caanelo can easily fight in the 170+ range, since he always comes in at 168+. His natural weight is 170+, but he has to bull**** the game and these people want to call him a mexican champ. lol.
