nope, he exaggerated because he wanted out. he didn't want to get back in the ring with pwill. pwill is a bad man.
he wasn't acting like he was hurt. he got the wind knocked out of him.
How did Cintron school Williams when they both landed close to the same amount of punches? Unless you're going by percentage. But everyone knows Williams is a volume puncher anyway. A judge even had Cintron winning every round. So quit with the whining and accept the fact that Cintron ruined the fight by being a candy ass.
even if they did land the same amount, cintron landed the better punches.
Nobody knows that. Neither guy got hurt and the fight didn't get a chance to get going.
nobody knows what? in my opinion, cintron landed the better punches. i believe willaims was stunned at one point, as well.
nobody said he hit his head. he said he got the wind knocked out of himself and he was lying there trying to catch his breath. if you watch the video in the first post at 1:03 when he rolls out of the ring, you can see cintron's back land on some blue object.
at 1:25, you can see cintron's right foot trip over williams' right foot. this should make it clear that he didn't jump out on purpose.
I'm asking this because I saw the Yahoo rankings, and the only guys on there that have a better body of work overall are Pacquiao and Mayweather. Skills aside, I didn't see anybody else on there with a better resume than Paul Williams. This is the truth. Why can't some people on here put their hard feelings aside and realize that Mosley, JMM, Martinez, and even Dawson and Adamek don't have a better body of work than Paul Williams. When I say that I mean when you talk about what have you done for me lately.
And don't bring titles into this shit either. Mayweather didn't even pay for one when he beat Mosley's ass.
What have Casamayor or Diaz gone on to do? Nothing. Tarver is a frigging TV commentator. Adamek has went on to be successful at higher weights. But outside of that I don't see anything that impessive about Chad'e resume. And yet Sergio Martinez went on to beat Pavlik. Margarito put together a three fight winning streak despite being wiped out by Mosley. Now the reason why you can't rank Martinez over Williams P4P is because of the head to head match up. It's just being biased. Do people rank Clottey over Cotto P4P? No, they don't. And even though it happened a long time ago Martinez does have a knockout loss to Margarito.
To sum it up, the only two guys that were on that P4P list that I could see giving Williams a run for his money where competing on a P4P scale goes is Dawson and Martinez themselves. Dawson's resume is good too, but he is a lot more inactive than Williams. And I explained the deal with Martinez.
So what's everybody's problem with Williams being at #3? I'm not on any nuthugging shit, because unlike Burner I do admit that Williams has flaws and I don't think he could beat Hopkins even at this stage like Burner does. But I think the guy gets way too much hate and not enough credit.
pound for pound is not all about resume. i may be the only one that thinks this way, though.
idk why it got called a riot...i got a text from espn saying paulie and khan in brawl i was like nahhh gtfo i came here and saw it...nothing interesting i thought they atleast hit each other. i heard paulie said something about khan bringing a bomb or a racial thing that ticked khan off.. not 100% sure tho just a rumour i guess

His opponent will be former Japanese Bantam king Shoji Kimura, respected boxer. In attendance during the fight will be Japanese Hall of Fame Great Khaosai Galaxy, who predicts that Poon will knock Kimura out.
Here's a link for an in depth article on the fight

khaosai galaxy is thai.
Yes, before the fight I thought it was essentially a pick 'em fight, hence why I said, 51-49 for Perez.....don't know anyone who scores a fight like that.
Thanks for the responses. I'm downloading the fight now, but would still like to know more. Would you guys says it was a case of favoring Perez's activity or Mares lower output, but cleaner punching?
mares actually had a higher output, i believe.
So you were unable to see the fight, right? But yet you thout it was a pick em fight??....something doesn't add up here...either way it was a war...I personally scored it. 113-115 for Mares but a draw is fine with me.
i'm sure he meant pre-fight in regards to making a prediciton.
The Klitschkos have made their desperation known to the entire world, which is a huge mistake! Haye knows the Klitschkos need him more than he needs them, and he is going to stall and work this leverage to the max. Not very exciting for the average fan, but its Chinese water torture to the Klitschkos.
Haye is a real threat to them and thats why he is causing so many headaches to K2 and to the people of this forum. If it was some random- chicken calling them out like Hopkins, I dont think theyd care. But because David has Youth, Speed and Power, they must keep a serious eye on him. They have to eliminate Haye before he gets too dangerous to stop.
Haye is a smart lad, and hes not going to blindly rush two hulking giants without a plan. His goal is NOT to fight the Klitschko's, but to fight them and WIN! And when you are in a 1 vs 2 battle you need every strategic and psychological advantage you can get. Stalling works in the 29 year olds favor and against the 34+ and 38+ Klitschkos.

^^^You have to swing Stegosaurus type Balls to wear a shirt like that. Haye is not scared of either brother, but he will continue to joust until hes ready to kill.
you're joking, right? haye is blatantly ducking the klitschkos. it's as clear as day.
Papa is an HBO puppet anyways. HBO = GBP........
papa isn't that bad.
the op meant tessitore, and he was obviously talking about clottey's performance that night. i'm sure most people would agree with tessitore, though. who would want to pay to see a one-sided fight when you can watch a fight with some pretty exciting, back-and-forth action for free?
forget winning, i dont wanna see Abe getting punished
i met both in Vegas and Juanma is ALOT bigger than Concepcion...he's more polished and more experienced...IMO, Abe's not ready for this
well, not seeing abe get punished would at least satisfy me. the ref should not hesitate to stop the fight whenever it needs to be stopped
and yes, abe is not ready for this
if concepcion isn't ready for lopez now, he never will be.
yep, I caught that too. Must have patched things over with Richard Schaefer. He didn't seem too lively though. Usually he's screaming and hollering, just was sitting still for the most part.
it seemed like he was facing schaefer, yapping the whole time.
